    Senior Resource Mobilization Officer (Partnership) - (1) Post

    V/NO. 9/2022

    JOB SPECIFICATION

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:- 

    1. Conducting research on potential donors/partners; 
    2. Developing data collection tools; 
    3. Preparing project proposals for funding agencies; 
    4. Updating donor databases to record their contacts and preference information; 
    5. Maintaining a network of donor contacts; 
    6. Collecting information, data, market research, and analysis of donor trends; 
    7. Sensitizing and training team members on fund raising, communications skills and strategies; 
    8. Organizing events for partnership building between implementers and potential partners; 
    9. Drafting business plan and writing reports.

    APPLICANT SPECIFICATION

    For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: – 

    1. At least four (4) years work experience in Resource Mobilization in public service or private sector; 
    2. A Bachelors Degree in any of Scheduled Sciences or in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development, Development Studies, International Relations, Public Administration and Business Administration or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; 
    3. A supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution; 
    4. Be a member of a relevant professional body where applicable; 
    5. Proficiency in computer applications; 
    6. Demonstrated results in work performance; 
    7. Good communication skills, 
    8. Demonstrated ability to mobilize resources; 
    9. Proposal development skills; 
    10. Proficiency in Computer skills; 
    11. Meet the provision of Chapter Six of Constitution

      5. Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
