Senior Tax Manager at NCBA Group

Job Purpose Statement

The role is responsible for Tax planning, Tax Advisory, Tax risk management, Group Transfer Pricing Policy management and Tax compliance for the Bank and Group entities, through continuous engagement with Revenue authorities, Tax advisors and various Business units. The role proactively manages and minimises inherent tax risks within Group companies

Ideal Job Specifications

Academic:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Professional qualification in CPA (K) or ACCA
• Business related Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage

Professional:

• At least six years’ experience in Taxation, Finance and Accounting.

Desired work experience:

• A minimum of 2 years in Financial services sector with 4 to 5 years’ experience in handling legal tax matters.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of financial products and regional exposure would be an added advantage.
• In depth understanding of tax laws and procedures within the East African region.
• Experience in Tax consulting in Big 4 is an added advantage
