Job Purpose: 

The SEO Content Writer will play a pivotal role in boosting the organic search engine ranking of the clients subsidiary websites. The successful candidate will develop high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that ranks well on Google and other search engines. They will work closely with the technical SEO team to optimize content and support marketing strategies for subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and publish blog posts, website copy, case studies, and other content formats.
• Develop content that aligns with marketing objectives and brand voice, answering user search intent.
• Manage a content calendar that supports SEO objectives and marketing strategy.
• Conduct research to identify customer pain points and relevant keywords for content optimization.
• Implement SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, and linking strategies.
• Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to improve SEO content strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create an SEO content strategy.
• Develop content themes that address user search queries and marketing goals.
• Support the planning and execution of content marketing campaigns.

• Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to keep content competitive.
• Use tools such as Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush for keyword research and trend analysis.
• Review and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Work with designers and other stakeholders to enhance content presentation.
• Provide guidance on SEO best practices and content optimization.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to improve writing and SEO skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a content writer, with a focus on SEO.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating content writing and SEO knowledge.
• Proficiency in content management systems and SEO tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Exceptional research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in international SEO is a plus.
