Job Description:

Software Developer who can undertake a software project from collecting user/client requirements, writing a technical proposal, coding & deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing current systems
• Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
• Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
• Producing detailed specifications and writing software code
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Preparation of training manuals for users
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running

Skills and Tools:

• esktop, Web Based and Mobile Programming
• Programming Languages: .NET (VB, C++, C#), PHP, Java/J2EE, Python, HTML
• Report Writing: Crystal Reports, other
• Databases: MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Data Analysis: Advanced MS Excel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• More than two years work experience as a developer.
• Ability to travel (Travel requirements are 40%).
• Screenshots of system(s) developed MUST be attached.

Salary:
Ksh 35,000 - 40,000
