Software Engineer (Angular / Front-End Focus) at Tropical Heat

About the Role

• We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented software engineer with strong experience in Angular and a good eye for visual design, user interfaces, and smooth user experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys building intuitive, reliable systems that connect business logic to clean, elegant front-ends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using Angular and related technologies
• Collaborate on design and UX decisions to deliver clean, intuitive interfaces
• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and databases
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions
• Support deployment, debugging, and optimisation across environments

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven ability to connect and consume RESTful APIs or similar backend services
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and modern frameworks
• Experience with version control (Git) and team-based workflows
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is key

Preferred (nice-to-have)

• Exposure to Node.js, Bootstrap, or Material UI
• Experience with Figma or other design collaboration tools
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic backend logic
• Previous work on HR, ERP, or business systems

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• Demonstrated portfolio or code samples showing practical software experience
