Spa Therapist at Corporate Staffing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of spa treatments incl. massages, facials, hammam experiences, and other wellness services.
• Provide consultations to guests including understanding the basic medical history to recommend the appropriate spa treatment or service for their individual needs. 
• Responsible for booking appointments, managing the spa schedule, and keeping accurate records of client treatments and services provided.
• Deal with any guest complaints following the ILEAD procedure and inform superiors as appropriate.
• Ensure that all spa & gym equipment is in good working order, and that the spa is always well-maintained and clean.
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
• Support the spa manager with creating a positive and motivating environment for the wider team with focus on development and excellent performance.
• Effectively carry out performance development conversations with team members following the organisation’s guidelines. 
• Cover spa manager’s leave, taking on all their responsibilities as necessary and produce an effective handover at the end of that period. 
• Keep up to date with new spa treatments, trends & techniques and actively seek to better yourself. 
• Assist with planning of team leave schedules.
• Work on special projects and support other departments as requested by the spa manager. 

Requirements and Skills 

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality environment. 
• Qualified spa therapist through a diploma in beauty therapy or massage therapy. 
• High standards of service excellence and passion for wellness in general
• Exceptional English language and general communication skills
• Ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
• Attention to detail & excellent organizational skills. 
• Presentable and well-groomed with a professional demeanor
