Stock Controller Branch (2 Openings - Nairobi) at Big Square Kenya

Job Purpose

• To ensure accurate stock management at the branch by overseeing inventory movements, reconciling stock variances, and maintaining financial controls to minimize losses and optimize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Cash Management - Daily reconciliations, banking, and spot-checks on branch floats.
• Inventory Control - Receive, issue, and count stock; ensure FIFO; update bin cards.
• Stock Reporting - Investigate variances, update reports, and maintain GP targets.
• Compliance - Ensure price accuracy, supplier invoice checks, & stock policy adherence.
• Training - Support new stock controllers and team members.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
