    Strategy Manager

    Role Description

    • The Strategy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.
    • The role involves leading strategic planning initiatives, including market and competitive analysis, business performance reviews, and identification of growth opportunities across the Group’s insurance and financial services portfolio.
    • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining strategic frameworks, preparing executive-level presentations and reports, coordinating cross-functional projects, and supporting implementation of key strategic initiatives.
    • The Strategy Manager will collaborate with senior leadership and business unit heads, provide insights to guide decision-making, and track progress against strategic objectives to ensure alignment with the Group’s vision and mission.

    Qualifications

    • Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and quantitative analysis.
    • Consulting and Management Consulting experience, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
    • Finance knowledge, including financial modeling, performance analysis, and understanding of insurance or financial services.
    • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven experience in strategy roles within financial services, insurance, or related sectors is highly desirable.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; a relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
