    Supply Chain Management Officer II

    No of Positions: 2

    Leave allowance: As existing in the Commission
    Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year
    Medical Cover: As existing in the Commission
    Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Facilitates tender opening process;
    • Prepares internal memo to invite members of technical committee;
    • Drafts invitation, notifications, and regret letters;
    • Formulate tender advert;
    • Avails processed invoices to accounts department for payment;
    • Maintain and update all procurement registers;
    • Conducts market surveys for standard goods; and
    • Un-sealer’s in the IFMIS system.

    Requirements for Appointment

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Commerce, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management.
    2. Has proven relevant experience in any of the following fields .Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and supplies, Logistics Management and Public Procurement;
    3. Proficiency in Computer applications; and
    4. Meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
