Team Leader at Reeds Africa Consult

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of 5 DCOs in daily data collection activities
• Ensure team achieves daily target of 400 records (80 per DCO)
• Assign specific areas within zones to each DCO for systematic coverage
• Conduct first-level quality checks on team submissions before upload
• Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to DCOs
• Manage team equipment (smartphones, power banks, supplies)
• Report team progress to Zone Supervisor every 2 hours
• Resolve minor field issues and escalate complex problems
• Ensure team maintains professional conduct with business owners
• Participate actively in data collection (lead by example)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Certificate or Diploma in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field data collection or surveys
• Previous team leadership experience (formal or informal)
• Good knowledge of Mombasa County geography
• Proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications
• Fluent in English and Swahili
