Technical Program Manager (IT) at WTS Energy

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a renowned IT corporation, for a Technical Program Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. The Technical Program Manager will oversee the development and implementation of large-scale, cross-functional programs that support strategic product and service initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs involving internal teams and external partners from planning through execution.
• Design product architecture and implement solutions to address technical and operational challenges.
• Define and prioritize program roadmaps, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Monitor and analyze product/service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality, profitability, and delivery.
• Serve as a technical advisor with customers to evangelize products, collect feedback, and support field sales efforts.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Identify trends, risks, and blockers, and proactively implement solutions to ensure program success.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management or related engineering project delivery roles.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, system architecture, and project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion in agile environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in or with global IT organizations is a plus.
