Competence in the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and digital laboratory equipment is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution. Additional certification in specialized areas
Demonstrated proficiency in core medical laboratory disciplines
Competence in the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and digital laboratory equipment is required.
Sound knowledge of ISO 15189:2022 standards, biosafety and biosecurity protocols, and good laboratory practice (GLP) is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification laboratory experience in a reputable healthcare, academic, or research institution. Experience in a university or teaching hospital laboratory setting will be an added advantage.
Must be registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
