    Tour Sales Consultant (2 Positions)

    Job Summary

    Tour sales consultant is responsible for handling direct sales through the various platforms with the objective of meeting tours and travel clients’ needs by advising on best company package that satisfies the client needs.

    Requirements:     

    • Degree/diploma in hospitality & tourism from renowned institution of learning.
    • Good client relations skills with problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work within timelines and respond to problems providing solutions at any time.
    • Be ready to work outside normal work hours and willing to travel to regional company offices.

    Experience:     

    • 5+ years of work experience in tourism industry in in relatable position.
    • Should have deep understanding of regional tourism experiences- beach, gorilla trekking, nature walks, cultures etc.

    Duties:     

    Tour sales consultant is responsible for handling direct sales through the various platforms with the objective of meeting tours and travel clients’ needs by advising on best company package that satisfies the client needs. The position is indoors based requiring a personality that is naturally convincing through articulation of travel solutions through indirect and direct communications.

    The role will be responsible to perform the following duties:-

    • Determining clients' needs and suggesting suitable travel packages.
    • Organizing travels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation and transportation.
    • Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials.
    • Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services.
    • Exploring and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Assists in developing sales and marketing strategies to promoting the company and boost company sales.
    • Act as regional liaison of the company offices.
    • Create and update electronic records of clients.
    • Maintain relationships with key persons.
    • Keep financial statements and documents.
    • Other duties assigned by the company management
