Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Collecting and compiling economic and trade related data.
2. Disseminating trade information.
3. Compiling data on recovery of loans owed to Nawiri Fund.
4. Facilitating trade promotion activities.
5. Participating in the implementation of trade related development projects.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, International Trade/Relations or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
2. Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
3. Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
