Videographer at Mogo Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Production
• Collaborate with Content Manager to shape the storytelling angle, script, and creative direction for each video.
• Prepare shot lists, interview questions, and filming schedules aligned with campaign goals.
• Scout filming locations (branches, customer homes, activations) to ensure authentic storytelling.
• Production
• Capture high-quality video content during customer activations, testimonials, influencer collaborations, and employee features.
• Ensure professional framing, lighting, and audio to reflect MOGO’s credibility.
• Direct participants (customers, staff, influencers) to make them comfortable and natural on camera.
• Post-Production
• Edit raw footage into engaging, concise videos optimized for platform (TikTok, IG reels, LinkedIn, YouTube etc).
• Add subtitles, graphics, brand elements, and music that enhance accessibility and brand feel.
• Deliver multiple formats (long-form, short-form, reels, teasers) from the same shoot to maximize content value.
• Content Integration & Archiving
• Ensure all videos are delivered to Content Architect for inclusion in PR-C calendar.
• Maintain a digital archive (footage library) of reusable clips for future campaigns.
• Suggest repurposing opportunities from old footage into new storylines

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools
• Initiative in exploring digital tools, including AI, to enhance creative output
• Exceptional creativity and innovation in brand and product campaigns
• High attention to detail, with strong proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
