It boarders Nandi to the East, Kisumu County to the South, Siaya County to the West and KAKAMEGA County to the North. It is one of the four Counties in the former Western Province. Vihiga County has five Constituencies; Luanda, Emuhaya, Hamisi, Sabatia and Vihiga. The County’s population stands at 612,000.

    Call for Nomination of Members of the Vihiga County Budget and Economic Forum (CBEF)

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Nominees and final appointees to the membership of the County Budget and Economic Forum 
    • should meet the following criteria:
    • Should not be County Public Officers.
    • Should be duly nominated by the above named organizations.
    • Should at least hold a Diploma in relevant field; and 
    • Possess basic knowledge of Budgeting and Economic Affairs.

    Method of Application

    Nominations from these organizations should be received not later than 10th February 2023.

    The nomination should be submitted to:
    County Secretary, County Government of Vihiga,
    P.O. Box 344-50300, Maragoli.
