Our client seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, process optimization, and timely product delivery. This role ensures compliance with safety standards while enhancing productivity and fostering team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Manage receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing space and inventory systems. % of Time -20%
Process Improvement: Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and implement automation tools. % of Time -20%
Dispatch Management: Oversee order dispatch, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any delivery issues. % of Time -20%
Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety protocols, regular inspections, and staff training are conducted. % of Time -10%
Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration. % of Time -10%
Reporting: Prepare and submit activity reports, track inventory movements, and ensure transparency. % of Time -10%
Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure products are stored and handled according to industry standards, collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve issues, and address shipment or inventory discrepancies promptly. % of Time -5%
Performance Analysis: Establish and communicate KPIs, evaluate staff performance with feedback and improvement plans, and reward excellence while addressing skill gaps through targeted training. % of Time -5%
Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in warehouse management or logistics/ Masters Degree is an added advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management
Proven experience in managing inventory, overseeing order fulfilment, and coordinating with external distributors and dealers.
Experience in managing a diverse team and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
