Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced Wood Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a wood manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have prior hands-on experience in the wood processing, timber, pallet manufacturing, or related wood products industry and be capable of leading production teams to achieve quality, productivity, and safety targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily wood production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timelines.
• Plan and allocate work to production staff effectively.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Minimize material wastage and improve production efficiency.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of woodworking machinery.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Monitor raw material usage and finished goods output.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Train, mentor, and supervise production employees.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Wood Technology, Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience supervising production in a wood processing, timber, furniture, sawmill, or pallet manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of wood manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Experience managing production teams and meeting production targets.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy with the ability to prepare production reports.
