The GRT is a small NGO , deliberately small because we aim to basics in Italy just a small but efficient structure. We have a person who is employed full-time, four employees have part-time volunteers for years that are part of the board, we have specific collaborations on issues we deal with.
W... read moree consider it important to respond with competence , and take action where we as an association we have something to say and also to learn. Our association is composed of members that in Italy working in the social, primarily educators, psychologists, psychiatrists, teachers, doctors. The seat of the GRT is shared with a co-operating in Milan in the social: the Traveling Fellowship, and are offered spaces to other associations which always involved in social work. This in addition to being an economical choice responds to the voltage of the research GRT and professional comparison.
Even abroad, the TSO aims not to create expensive facilities and difficult to manage, impossible to sustain local counterparts. In our projects we try to answer considering the resources available locally, to support the local staff through training and highlighting their ability and their resources.
The funds are then invested in local staff, on minimal equipment and manageable, to offer resources that allow the development of autonomy of local associations and above all the project beneficiaries.
