    Administrative Assistant

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Answering incoming calls, taking messages and re-directing calls as required.
    • Dealing with email enquiries.
    • Organizing office operations and procedures.
    • Social media management that is handling mentions, comments, messages and responding promptly.
    • Project support by helping and assisting in executing special projects by ensuring timelines and all the deliverables.
    • Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
    • Welcoming guests and directing them to the respective places.

    Filing of office documents.

    • Preparation of statutory deductions and monthly remittance schedules.
    • Preparations of suppliers invoices for payment. 

    Bookkeeping.

    • Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger.
    • Updating and maintaining accounting databases.
    • Maintaining and controlling of debtors accounts and commission arising thereof.
    • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

    Data entry

    • Maintenance of the required registers e.g. asset register, cheques incoming and outgoing register.
    • Secures financial information by completing database backups, keeping information confidential.
    • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance company policy and accepted accounting practices.
    • Perform routine clerical accounting duties.
    • Perform any other duty as may be assigned.

    Job requirements and qualifications

    • Degree in business administration or any business related field.
    • Valid working experience on a similar role.
    • Proficient in English both written and spoken
    • A quick learner who is self-motivated.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Barber

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Haircuts and Styling: Provide a range of haircuts and styling services for people, including fades, tapers, afro, undercuts, and classic cuts, tailored to the client's preferences.
    • Shaving and Grooming: Perform traditional and modern shaving techniques, including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and mustache grooming.
    • Consultations: Conduct client consultations to understand their grooming needs and suggest suitable styles and products.
    • Customer Service: Create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for clients, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
    • Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations, including sterilizing tools and equipment after each use.
    • Product Knowledge: Recommend hair and beard care products to clients, providing advice on proper grooming techniques and maintenance.
    • Client Retention: Build a loyal client base by providing exceptional service and encouraging repeat visits through personalized care.
    • Appointment Management: Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client bookings to ensure efficient shop operations.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other barbers and shop staff to create a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Certification: Licensed Barber
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barber in a barbershop or salon setting.

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in various haircutting, shaving, and grooming techniques.
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stay current with industry trends and client preferences.
    • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
    • Professionalism: High level of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with modern and traditional barbering techniques, including hot towel shaves and hair design.
    • Knowledge of barber shop management and business operations.
