    Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

    Job Description

    • The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day food & beverage operations of the BWPMH in a professional manner, while continually exceeding guest expectations.

    Duties &  Responsibilities

    • Smooth and organized running of F&B service according to the Standards set by the management.
    •  Leads by personal example by following the Company’s Mission / Vision & Guiding Principles.
    •  Complies with the Company’s Code of Conduct, 
    • Responsible for all areas of the food & beverage operations 
    • Ensure all customers are provided with outstanding service 
    • Ensure kitchen, restaurant, and bar operations are opened and closed according to policy
    • Responsible for ordering supplies, inventory control and establishing relationships with suppliers ensuring the business receives competitive terms 
    • Responsible for food hygiene, and health and safety issues 
    • Responsible to assist in menu planning, development and meal specials 
    • Ensure all restaurants and conference areas are organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness
    •  Provides leadership and guidance to all team members 
    • Ensure proper cash management controls are followed by all food & beverage staff members, as per policy 
    • Responsible for food quality, and presentation 
    • Ensure the food & beverage operations are properly staffed with trained competent individuals 
    • Adhere to all government guidelines for proper and safe food and beverage service (Serve Safe; Smart Serve; Food Handling Training Protocol)
    • Participate on committees to assist with event details and other special requirements 
    • Responsible for report generation on a needs, monthly and fiscal basis 
    • Perform other hotel-related duties as required

    Requirements

    • Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Management or related studies.
    • A degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management is an added advantage.
    • 5 years experience in the hospitality industry in a comparable role.
    • 4* or 5* experience desirable as F&B Supervisor or Ass Manager.
    • Knowledge of HACCP & FSMS is an added advantage.
    • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Must be a good communicator.
    • Computer proficient and able to compile reports for top management.
    •  Knowledge in F & B SOP formulation and implementation.

    SPA Therapist

    Job Description

    Job Purpose/Mission 

    • The Spa therapist shall carry out treatments on guests as per their request to the guest's satisfaction. They shall carry out diverse beauty treatments from the spa menu.

    Duties &  Responsibilities

    • Responsible for training all new spa attendants and ensuring all job requirements and standards are met.
    • Knowledge of Spa Software Systems is an added advantage.
    • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office.
    • Effectively resolve guest complaints and communicate.
    • Coaching and evaluating spa team performance.
    • Assist with monthly inventory.
    • Maintain all guest supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
    • Maintain retail area and check retail stock daily.

    Requirements

     

     

    • Hands-on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
    • 1 year of working experience as a therapist

    Restaurant Manager

    Job Description

    Job Purpose/Mission

    • Manages daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards, and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to improve guest continually and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance in areas of responsibility.

    Duties &  Responsibilities

    • Oversee the dining area, and supervises food and beverage service staff per operating policies that he or she may help establish.

    • Proficiency in Point of sale (POS) software, Restaurant guest satisfaction tracking software, etc.
    • Assist in planning regular and special event Menus.

    Requirements

    • Degree, High schooling, or one-year Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
    • Has effectively managed Team Members for 12+ months.
    • Previous experience in a similar job role.
    • Coached and improved the performance of at least one poorly performing Team member/Manager

    Maintenance Supervisor

    Job Description

    Job Purpose

    An experienced professional Engineer with plumbing and Electrical knowledge, who can handle daily Hotel maintenance activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect the facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
    • Preparing daily, and weekly maintenance schedules and allocating work.
    • Recruiting, supervising, and training maintenance technicians.
    • Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
    • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
    • Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g., renovation) with services providers like Elevonic, Halls, Domerk, and any other appointed service provider.  
    •  Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

    Requirements

    • Minimum education of diploma in electrical, and mechanical Engineering.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory position.
    • Good knowledge of maintenance operations.
    • Have excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
    • Able to self–supervise.
    • Computer proficient and able to compile reports for the top management.
    • Knowledge of general maintenance.

    • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
    • Previous experience in facilities management; hospitality experience desirable.
