    Business Development Executive

    PURPOSE

    The incumbent shall be responsible for sourcing and growing the Corporate Life business portfolio by acquiring profitable group business through Intermediary and ensure that new business revenue budgets are achieved.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensuring that production targets are met;
    • Establishing a working and sustainable relationship with Intermediary;
    • Providing competitive quotations to Intermediary and clients;
    • Providing product training to Intermediary;
    • Making marketing presentations to Intermediary and clients;
    • Joint calls on clients with respective Intermediary;
    • Recommending commission levels and incentives for Intermediary;
    • Market research with regards to corporate products;
    • Participates in product development;
    • Promoting the company brand; and
    • Profit management of the portfolio.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field

     Experience

    • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience

    ICT Development Operations Officer

    PURPOSE

    To work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended to support the Groups and Subsidiaries operational needs.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Building and setting up new software tool and systems to support the Groups and Subsidiaries operational needs.
    • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes in order to get software and systems up and running and ensure long term scalability.
    • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results for purposes of improvement in line with the business functions needs
    • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
    • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
    • Employing Agile development approaches to improve on the quality and quantity of delivered software solutions.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or in a related field.

    Professional Qualification

    • CCNA
    • CISCO certified
    • Added advantage MCSE, ITIL Foundation.

    ICT Development Operations Manager

    PURPOSE

    To support the AGILE deployment and integration of DevOps solutions, ensuring successful business process automation and delivery of high quality and sustainable DevOps solutions in support of operational excellence.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Takes full ownership of the DevOps function and be responsible for managing all server and infrastructure related issues related to development operations.
    • Designs, builds and maintains a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for automation internally and engages stakeholders to prioritize business ICT development initiatives and applies DevOps solutions.
    • Understanding the needs of various internal stakeholders and conveying the same to the DevOps Engineers throughout the; Plan, Build, Configure, Test and Deploy stages of DevOps projects.
    • Perform quality assurance of development efforts by analyzing & approving new code and participating in automation testing and implementation.
    • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of continuous integration environments and the developed software development platforms.
    • Keep track of and report on the delivery and return on investment of the ICT DevOps automation projects.
    • Oversees the DevOps Engineers, assigning and monitoring workflow and ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained of all development efforts.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or in a related field.

    Professional Qualification

    • CCNA/ITIL/ PRINCE2 Project Management qualification

     Experience

    • Minimum of Eight (8) years’ relevant experience, two (2) of which at supervisory level
