    Property Manager

    Our client is currently looking to hire a Property Manager to be based in the Rift Valley Region.

    Responsibilities

    • Administrative and maintenance duties in billing, processing payments with regards to the property management
    • Meeting with current tenants pertaining to issues concerning the property and also meeting prospective tenants
    • Be able to manage estate accounting books, develop reports, manage suppliers and network with other service providers.
    • Manage and plan restoration and service works
    • Managing the junior staff in property and ensuring proper maintenance
    • Assist in showing apartments to potential new tenants and explains the lease agreements and stipulations

    Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma in Property Management, Real Estate or any other relevant course
    • At least 3 years relevant working experience as a Property Manager
    • Working experience preferably in serviced and furnished apartments would be advantageous
    • Records keeping on stocks re-order levels for replenishment of materials
    • Administrative skills – supervisory of broad range of staff, management of filing system, general office administration, etc.
    • High integrity, team player, leadership, meeting of deadlines and interpersonal skills a must

    Our client in the ICT industry is currently looking to hire a Sales / Admin Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Sales & Marketing of QuickBooks software, AVG Software, Hosting solutions, General PC Hardware & Accessories
    • Covering the various and different territories within Nairobi and greater Nairobi plus surrounding towns
    • Sourcing of new clients in the above named area in both the private and the public sectors
    • Building & Maintaining relationships with new & existing clients
    • Working with fellow team members to attain your targets.

    • To adhere with company policy in terms of cash collection and credit facilitation. All credit must be approved by the management.

    Qualifications

    • Able to handle product sales and marketing to small, medium and corporate organizations.

    Senior Tax Consultant

    Our client a leading consulting company offering accounting, tax compliance, planning, advisory solutions and immigration services is currently looking to hire a Senior Tax Consultant.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the delivery of designated Tax engagements/projects and managing the implementation of agreed deliverables.
    • Assisting in the preparation of proposals/tenders and presentations to clients.
    • Generating innovative solutions on projects/engagements in collaboration with team members to enhance/renew service offerings to clients.
    • Assisting in developing knowledge on current tax matters across the Tax function.
    • Delivering client service according to relevant company standards, policies and ethical principles.
    • Assist in acquisition of new clients to the consulting firms by attending meetings and discussing our service offerings
    • Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns.
    • Serve as the Tax client service coordinator for assigned clients.
    • Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in the tax law.
    • Manage client needs with respect to tax services and tax compliance.
    • Prepare tax planning and transaction structuring opinions that aimed to enable tax-efficient execution of financial plans.
    • Provide tax advisory on VAT, customs duties and income tax – corporation tax, personal tax, residential rental income tax, capital gains tax, withholding tax, fringe benefit tax and PAYE.
    • Conduct tax compliance reviews and tax due diligence highlighting tax exposures and tax planning opportunities.
    • Prepare tax training material and newsletters.
    • Preparation of Transfer Pricing Policy Documents.
    • Obtain private tax rulings from KRA and resolve tax disputes.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Business/Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Law or a related field.
    • (CPAK / ACCA) or a diploma for Kenya School of Revenue Administration is a must.
    • At least 3 years’ working experience in tax consulting.
    • Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements.
    • Experience preparing or reviewing tax returns.
    • Good communication skills both oral and written
    • Experience handling tax disputes at the KRA and Tax Appeals Tribunal (TAT).
    • Experience in dealing with international tax matters a plus.
    • Working knowledge of tax legislation and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Our client a leading consulting company offering accounting, tax compliance, planning, advisory solutions and immigration services is currently looking to hire a Senior Finance & Accounting Consultant.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring timely month-end/year-end closure process and reconciliations.
    • Preparing and analyzing financial data to present to management in a clear, comprehensive and accurate manner.
    • Assist with tax returns i.e. VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, WHVAT etc.
    • Assisting in the preparation of proposals/tenders and presentations to clients
    • Reconcile financial reports for inaccuracies or discrepancies i.e. petty cash, bank, sales etc.
    • Maintain and improve accounting control processes for clients by preparing and recommending policies and procedures and analyzing accounting information.
    • Firm grasp of international IFRS accounting policies and procedures and is able to advise key leadership on any new developments.
    • Ensuring the clients assigned comply with all local financial and statutory requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
    • Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls of clients assigned.
    • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Business/Commerce, Economics or Law
    • (CPAK / ACCA) is a must.
    • At least 3 years’ working experience in finance and accounting consulting.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, excellent use of Excel is a must.
    • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
    • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year end closure process.
    • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
    • High flexibility and ability to deliver to deadlines.

    Junior ICT Engineer

    Our client in the ICT industry is currently looking to hire a Junior Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing technical support to customers and within the company
    • Diagnosing and repairing of computers, printers, tablets and other ICT equipment’s
    • Installing and Configuring hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners.
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
    • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, ICT or its equivalent
    • At least 1 year of experience as an IT Technician or relevant position

    • Ability to quickly acquire technical knowledge and complete certifications.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Certifications: EITHER MCSE/A, CCNA OR a technical certification in at least ONE of the following technologies HPE Servers, Firewalls (Sophos, Palo Alto, Fortigate), Cloud (Azure/AWS)
    • Knowledge or Certification of Linux/Virtualization would be an added advantage
