    Membership Services Officer

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing and implementing membership recruitment strategies;
    • Overseeing development of membership quality services and delivery to enhance loyalty, retention, and growth
    • Ensuring growth in membership base and respective incomes 
    • Coordinating ISK Membership Chapter Programmes and outreach operations;
    • Identifying and developing promotional avenues to raise awareness of the Institution;
    • Innovate and implement strategies for enhanced customer service to members;
    • Carrying out membership satisfaction surveys and/or needs assessment for members in liaison with relevant departments and identifying the right services for members satisfaction
    • Carrying out research in liaison with the Research department to identify emerging trends in membership services;
    • Handling Membership complaints and disciplinary issues in liaison with Professional Practice and Ethics Committee;
    • Support the issuance of membership certificates and certificate of good standing;
    • Developing and implementing members’ welfare programmes and activities;
    • Maintaining an updated members database and support to ensure timely subscriptions payments and arrears clearance; and
    • Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    Qualifications

    •  A Degree in Land Surveying (Geospatial/Geomatics Engineering), Real Estate, Land Administration, Education, or related fields from a recognized University;
    • A post graduate Diploma in Business Administration, communication or marketing is an added advantage;
    • Being a current active member of ISK or any other professional organization will be an added advantage;
    • IT proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, Access, Power-point, and e-mail; and
    • Seven years’ experience in a similar position in a similar organization.

    • Strong interpersonal, organizing and planning skills;
    • High degree of Integrity.
    • Excellent customer service,
    • Excellent communication skills – presentation, verbal and written skills

    Training and Examination Officer

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Liaising with the Education and Research Committee in drawing up the ISK training and examinations timetables;
    • Coordinate the marketing, administration, preparation, and organisation of ISK training to members and non-members;
    • Coordinate the ISK Professional Examinations in accordance with the laid down regulations;
    • Manage ISK training including: preparing and scheduling training programs; advice on the purchase of training aids and materials; and maintain accurate training records using ISK’s automated systems, forms, and procedures.
    • Coordinate the development of training materials as well as ensure continuous review of existing training material and reviewing training performance and making routine reports to the ISK CEO;
    • Ensure the Institutions training and examination program is regularly revised and aligned to particular needs of ISK members;
    • Ensuring all training and examination charges and fees are paid as required;
    • Analysing training and examination data for purposes of providing market intelligence to the ISK council;
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans and reports on Training and Examination;
    • Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in Land Surveying (Geospatial/Geomatics Engineering), Real Estate, Land Administration, Education, or related fields from a recognized University;
    • Current Membership with ISK will be an added advantage
    • Proficiency in the use of e-learning will be an added advantage; and
    • Seven years’ working experience;
    • Experience in coordinating training and examinations in a training institution or a member-based organization will be an added advantage.
