    People & Development Director (International NGO)

    Key Requirements

    • Advise on optimal organization structure and provide guidance on job banding, salary ranges, benefits and cost to company financial considerations
    • Ensure the organization is compliant with employee legislation and tax requirements
    • Development, roll out and activation of HR and Admin policies in line with organization’s vision, mission and value
    • Support and guide on HR operations processes within your purview
    • Negotiating employment and other legal contracts
    • Oversight and checking of all legal agreements and contracts in particular rental, HR contracts, services and goods contracts relating to HR and Admin
    • Mapping and action planning for timely management of all legal agreements
    • Manage the recruitment process efficiently and effectively
    • Ensure that the processes are transparent and that internal development opportunities are maximized
    • Monitoring and analysis of all policies and procedures as they support compliant and efficient support services work in line with values
    • Communication and roll out of policies through excellent induction and staff briefing activities
    • Field visits to ensure staff issues are addressed in a timely manner and corrective action taken where necessary
    • Self-assessment and regular safety checks and documentation across all workplace
    • Registration of incidents and action planning
    • Development and delivery of effective training to support staff health & Safety
    • Processing of work permits and NGO board and Immigrations documents
    • Legal matters related to HR and Admin issues
    • Oversight of security and logistics function
    • Develop learning and development policy in collaboration with the Country Management team
    • Identify the learning and development needs of the People & development and Admin Team, where appropriate provide tailored training and support
    • Evaluate and access the impact of learning initiatives and activities
    • Manage relationships with suppliers to the P&D team, including law firms, employment agencies, recruitment agencies

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR or in any related discipline
    • Registered with a relevant professional body
    • Experience in an INGO at a senior managerial position
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and engage a team for high performance
    • Highly systematic and organised to ensure tight management of systems and record keeping
    • Excellent communication skills for negotiation and conflict resolution
    • Proven experience in establishing and achieving team goals and deliverables with systematic planning and KPIs
    • Budget management
    • A skilled negotiator
    • A clear attention to detail
    • Strategic thinker, excellent analytical skills
    • Interest in public health, particularly sexual and reproductive health
    • Flexibility to operate in a changing
    • Able to communicate effectively (both written and oral) at all levels

    Technical Sales Manager (Construction)

    Key Requirements:

    • Understand the company product portfolio range with respect to the Construction, Lifting and concrete market and technically position products versus the competition.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationship with customers and ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
    • Maintain optimal stock levels of equipment’s and spare parts.
    • Obtain and evaluate external information of possible new markets, products and come up with strategies on how to enter the market and ensure our products are visible in the market.
    • Linking clients with financial institutions and assisting them in getting financing.
    • Proactively participating in prospecting, specification preparation, tendering, negotiating, contracting and delivery.
    • Ensure timely invoicing, delivery and payment of equipment’s.
    • Follow up on all customer needs, orders, quotations, including delivery and quality issues, with sales, customer service, logistics & Service Team.
    • Provide intel/feedback to the manufacturer or technical department of existing and potential customer requirements for new or existing products.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ technical sales experience.
    • Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
    • Must have excellent in negotiation, organizational, interpersonal including listening and presentation skills.
    • Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications.
