    CEO AMAC (Africa Mega Corp PLC)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strategic Leadership
    • Provide overall strategic direction and execute AMAC’s multi-year growth plan.
    • Expand Mazao Exchange, WRS, and the AMAC Institute across Kenya and neighboring regions.
    • Identify and commercialize new commodity opportunities and product lines.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Minimum 10 years’ senior leadership in agribusiness, commodities trading, trade finance, or agricultural value chains.
    • Demonstrated experience in scaling platforms, structured trading systems, or commodity exchanges.
    • Proven track record in revenue growth, partnership development, and market expansion.
    • Strong financial acumen, analytical capability, and negotiation skills.
    • Experience working with regulators, development partners, cooperatives, and global buyers.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Deep understanding of agricultural markets, value chains, and commodities regulation.

    Management Accountant

    The Management Accountant will provide comprehensive, multi-entity financial accounting support including ledger management, month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The position requires hands-on experience in managing accounting operations for multiple companies, strong analytical capability, and the ability to drive process improvements across the finance function.

    This role supports the CFO in ensuring that each business unit meets its financial reporting obligations, complies with IFRS/GAAP standards, and maintains a sound internal control environment.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Multi-Entity Accounting & Ledger Management

    • Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple companies within the group.
    • Record all financial transactions promptly and accurately.
    • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, eliminations, and transfer pricing entries.
    • Ensure accounting policies are applied consistently across all entities.

    Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Oversight

    • Process vendor invoices, staff expense claims, and supplier payments.
    • Generate customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances.
    • Maintain accurate AP/AR aging reports and escalate risk accounts promptly.
    • Support supplier and customer reconciliation processes.

    Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

    • Prepare month-end journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and amortization.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet schedules, and key control accounts.
    • Generate monthly management accounts for each subsidiary (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
    • Prepare variance analysis and financial commentary for leadership review.

    Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

    • Support preparation of annual budgets for each business unit.
    • Update rolling forecasts and perform scenario analysis.
    • Provide insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and financial risks.
    • Assist in aligning financial forecasts with operational performance targets.

    Compliance, Controls & Audit Support

    • Ensure full compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
    • Assist with statutory filings (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax).
    • Strengthen internal controls across payment processes, procurement, and inventory.

    Systems, Data Integrity & Process Improvement

    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across accounting and ERP systems.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and workflow improvement.
    • Support digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • CPA (K) or equivalent professional certification required.
    • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (multi-entity experience strongly preferred).
    • Proficiency in modern accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Oracle ERP, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and statutory tax requirements.
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).

    HR & Administration Assistant

    The HR & Administration Assistant supports both the People & Culture function and day-to-day administrative operations. The role ensures accuracy in HR processes, smooth office management, compliance with internal policies and labour laws, and effective coordination across teams. This is a key support role requiring discretion, initiative, and strong communication skills.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    PEOPLE OPERATIONS (HR SUPPORT)

    • Support recruitment processes including job posting, candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, and communication.
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding (accounts setup, workspace preparation, orientation schedule).
    • Maintain accurate and updated digital HR files and employee records.
    • Track attendance, leave balances, and staff movement.
    • Prepare monthly inputs for payroll processing (leave, overtime, deductions, benefits).
    • Assist in implementing HR policies, culture initiatives, and company values.

    Professional Experience

    • 10–15+ years senior leadership experience in renewable energy, sustainability, climate technology, or infrastructure.
    • Proven track record leading large energy or climate portfolios, engineering operations, or clean-tech ventures.
    • Demonstrated experience in climate finance, investment mobilization, and public–private partnerships.
    • Experience scaling organizations, managing cross-functional teams, and leading regional expansion.
