    Clerk Grade 3

    The Clerk will ensure that all the trucks are checked to client’s protocols. Also, to ensure the process is executed in a safe, efficient manner and all necessary documentation and data is in place and in line with the objectives of the Business Unit and any other duties as per management's discretion.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyze and understand health and safety related risks for drivers - both own fleet and subcontracted, take action to reduce or eliminate these risks.
    • Ensure always safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment
    • Ensure compliance to the drivers, understand, and comply to all site rules and regulations
    • Check and verified goods are well stacked as per truck on a proper wooded pallet before loading the truck.
    • Count and reconcile all packages being loaded in a truck.
    • Ensure truck is properly sealed before dispatch.
    • Timely escalate any issues arising to the truck on duty or engage the Transport Lead.
    • Ensuring all trucks are loaded accurately as per order quantity
    • Supervise loading and offloading process
    • Ensure driver is issued with all relevant documents i.e. ERN/GRN and Hauler Copy
    • Ensuring that all drivers hand in their PODs within the set times and any notable issue reported /captured immediately
    • Ensure all non-conforming goods/product do not get loaded into the truck i.e. Shots/breakages
    • Provides feedback channels for drivers - both own and subcontracted to enable active contribution to the improvement and development of the operation
    • Assist in supervising the drivers to ensure they actively support the loading process and queue/dock of trucks to gain access into NCD loading/offloading bays immediately they are called upon
    • Have the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicate information clearly incase of any delays from clients in loading products /offloading empties.
    • Record and maintain data related to the day's work load.
    • Ensure goods are well placed in the trucks and sealed
    • Always ensure cartons and pallet conform to the standards required and free from damages
    • Follow instructions and prioritize tasks based on production and shipping schedules.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

    • High school/secondary education
    • Data Clerical work experience
    • Diploma/Certificate in Logistics/Freight Forwarding and Purchasing & Supply Chain – Desirable
    • University Graduate - Desirable
    • Holder of a valid driving license – Desirable

    Resident Veterinarian

    The ideal candidate should be proficient in diagnosing, treating, and managing the health needs of livestock, specifically goats, sheep, and cattle. As a crucial member of the team, the individual will play a key role in maintaining the health and productivity of their animals, contributing to the success of their farming operations.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform thorough examinations, diagnose illnesses, and administer treatments for goats, sheep, and cows, ensuring the best possible care for all livestock.
    • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and ultrasound, to identify and address health issues accurately.
    • Implement vaccination programs, parasite control measures, and regular health checks to prevent diseases and promote overall herd wellness.
    • Provide guidance and advice to farm staff on best practices for animal health management, including nutrition, breeding, and routine care.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medical treatments, vaccinations, and health assessments, ensuring compliance with veterinary and agricultural standards.
    • Respond swiftly to urgent cases, providing critical care during emergencies, including difficult births, injuries, and severe illnesses.
    • Work closely with farm management and support staff to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations and uphold high standards of animal care.

    EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
    • Valid veterinary license to practice in Kenya.
    • Previous experience in treating livestock, especially ruminants such as goats, sheep, and cattle, is highly preferred. New graduates with a strong interest in livestock care are also welcome to apply.
    • Proficient in diagnostics, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication with farm staff, and familiarity with veterinary record-keeping software.
    • Ability to handle large livestock, including lifting, restraining, and working in outdoor farm conditions for extended periods.

    Payroll Intern

    • Responsible for working with the payroll accountants to support the business and payroll operational processes.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the payroll accountants in the processes they will be trained in.
    • Assist in collating payroll information required for accurate invoicing to be done.
    • Assist in maintaining and updating records on the system.
    • Assist in accurate filing of statutory records.
    • Assist in filing of payroll documents for allocated accounts and ensuring all payroll files are updated monthly and ready for an audit process at all times.
    • Any other role assigned by the supervisor or senior management.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related fields.
    • Holders of CPA Part I, II, or III (K) certification or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
    • Applicants with a KCSE mean grade of B– (minus) and at least a B in Mathematics are encouraged to apply.
