Job Description

1. Powwater is looking for a Customer Experience Associate to lead and maintain positive customer relationships for Powwater.
2. The ideal candidate will interact directly with customers groups (customers, vendors and drivers) – receiving and making calls, taking customer orders and directing them appropriately, listening to concerns, resolving problems, and recommending appropriate actions thereof to the satisfaction of the customer.
3. You will work closely with the senior management of the company and will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future.

Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain good rapport with customers by using positive language and anticipating their needs
2. Receive all inbound calls and offer support to customers questions and queries in person, by telephone, or by email
3. Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
4. Maintain an updated knowledge of the organization’s products and services
5. Keep an up to date record of leads and customers generated from various channels – (WhatsApp, online, phone, email) and manage the CRM system by keeping a record of customer transactions, interactions, comments and complaints.
6. Use customer insight to propose new ideas on how to improve Powwater and recommend new products/services or make suggestions for improvements by identifying relevant features and benefits
7. Coordinate with the Vendor and Driver teams to ensure deliveries are done in the shortest time possible whilst maintaining a great overall customer experience.
8. Ensure that payments are collected and logged in our system and receipts sent to customers
9. Collect testimonials from customers and provide any insightful feedback to management to develop our products and our brand
10. Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times giving customers a remarkable experience worth talking about

Requirments

1. 2+ years of previous customer service experience a plus
2. Extremely strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
3. An enthusiastic individual with outstanding problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills to assist customers in their customer journey
4. Detail oriented person with the ability to seamlessly plan, coordinate and execute projects
5. Ability to analyze data and proactively identify and address issues with customer accounts
6. An initiative taker who enjoys working independently once you receive clear directions
7. Proficient with customer-relationship management (CRM) software programs, and Google Suite
8. Strong command of written and verbal English and Swahili
9. Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations.

Job Description

Powwater is looking for a full time backend engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing the server side structure of our suite of products which include but are not limited to mobile and web applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in ideation and brainstorm sessions for our technology, algorithms and products.Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into technical solutions.
2.  Design and implement APIs, services and general system architecture for our productsHelp improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
3.  Server side optimization and maintenance to improve product performance and reduce downtime
4.  Work with frontend engineers to ensure proper implementation of endpoints
5.  Work with the data engineers to ensure database stability, reliability and availability
6.  Integrate into external APIs to improve the functionality of our products

Qualifications

1.  At least 3 years experience as a backend developer
2.  Proficiency in Node JS and at least 1 of the following programming languages: R, Java, Python, PHP
3.  Experience working with navigation APIs, payment APIs
4.   Knowledge of Postgresql or any other database systems
5.   Previous experience working in a startup environment preferred but not required
6.   Experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform

Powwater is looking for a full time front end engineer who will be responsible for implementing visual elements on its suite of products which include but are not limited to mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities

1. Developing front end mobile and web architecture.
2. Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of Powwater’s product suite.
3. Working alongside designers for web and mobile design elements.
4. Overseeing overall rollout of features, products and verticals.
5. Understanding product user needs.
6. Designing user flows
7. Work with the data engineers to ensure database stability, reliability and availability
8. Develop specifications for new features/products and maintaining existing products
9. Liaising with backend developers and to integrate the backend with UI elements
10. Product performance improvement, balancing, usability, automation

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years experience as a front end developer
2. Proficiency in Javascript and and Javascript libraries and frameworks, particularly React. Experience with React Native preferred but not required.
3. Knowledge working with REST APIs
4. Experience with responsive design
5. Previous experience working in a startup environment preferred but not required

Powwater is looking for a full time graphics designer who will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visual concepts that drive user interest in our suite of products.

Responsibilities

1. Planning and concept designs for marketing campaigns
2. Establishing our creative direction, and maintaining and building upon Powwater’s brand guidelines
3. Coordinating with outside design agencies, art services, marketing partners, printers, and teams on artwork and concepts
4. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company and company branding activities
5. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years experience as a graphics designer
2. Proficiency in working with graphics design software such as photoshop, illustrator
3. Experience with UI/UX design is preferred but not required
