    Enterprise Architect

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the enterprise architecture governance and compliance processes to ensure all areas of the organization are architecting and implementing solutions that adhere to the defined guiding principles and defined architecture roadmaps.
    • Deliver an enterprise architecture framework that drives technology, solutions development standards and provide common approaches for integration across enterprise applications, processes, and data leading to architecture artifacts, frameworks and patterns to be used as references by the development teams across the organization.
    • Create and recommend for approval the governing principles to guide EA decision making by collaborating with the extended architecture community.
    • Govern processes and solutions and ensure that the defined Enterprise Architecture taxonomy is leveraged by the enterprise.
    • Evolve the Enterprise middleware state by continued adoption drive for SOA through setup & improvement of a SOA Governance Reference Model and roadmap.
    • Lead analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture.
    • Develop guidelines and standards that will direct and inform how Information Technology investments will be evaluated for compliance with the Bank’s Enterprise Architecture.
    • Align and rationalize technology decisions and investments and develop a catalogue of approved technologies for the Bank.
    • Publish periodic reports on Enterprise Architecture compliance, progress, compliance issues, and provide guidance on the treatment required to achieve compliance.
    • Provide and maintain a repository for all EA artefacts including procedures, standards and tools and continuously guide on their consumption and measure adoption.
    • Provide guidance for the IT Change Management through standardized methods and procedures for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to control IT environments leading to reduced impact and incidents upon service and alignment/adherence to Enterprise Architecture.
    • Performing analysis and evaluating internal and external business drivers that may influence change in the enterprise target architecture.
    • Any other official duty that may be allocated by management from time to time.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study.
    • Professional qualifications such as TOGAF, ITIL Foundation.
    • 7 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines such as enterprise architecture, application architecture, application development, middleware and SOA in a multi-tier environment.
    • At least 5 years’ experience with Operating systems (Windows, AIX, LINUX).
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a leading formal enterprise architecture framework.

    Manager, Enterprise Architecture, Governance and Change Management

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee adherence to the architecture strategy, principles and framework throughout IT
    • Defining the technology solution and environment roadmaps to ensure capacity and scalability, as demand and usage evolve within the business. This will be obtained through having visibility and understanding of the entire technology landscape

    • Defining a full Technical Architectural Roadmap for communicating architecture and IT standards to all stakeholders and ensure standards are published, updated and adhered to.
    • Liaising with key IT partners to quantify and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of IT solutions from an Architecture perspective
    • Keeping up to date of Architecture, IT Strategy and technology innovation best practices and trends
    • Managing and maintaining the service catalogue
    • Evaluating, designing, suctioning and trouble-shooting IT across all IT functions and working at the point of need.
    • Follow-up on and ensure closure of all Audit, risk and compliance issues to ensure ICT Policies and Data Protection is adhered to.
    • Code review of Developed solutions
    • Ensure escrow setup for code is activated and discipline for code store is enforced.
    • Ensuring all Changes go through proper testing and Quality assurance is properly done before the requests are presented in CAB.
    • Setup a functional Change Approval Board and track all changes in the bank
    • Any other official duty that may be allocated by management from time to time.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Software engineering, Computer Science, MIS Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a dynamic IT environment, of which 7 years must have been in enterprise architecture domain – specific focus on digital experience working on micro services, API, cloud native architecture, containers, Security while leading a team.

    • Strong knowledge of project management principles

    Software Quality Testing Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensures that the business requirements are complete, precise and testable.
    • Works with project team to define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, plan test schedules or strategies and Identifies test resources, estimates test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and ensures that the test strategy is achieved.
    • Develop, document, and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
    • Works collaboratively with the business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based upon business requirements and ensures that the test cases are traceable to the requirements. In collaboration with other team members in Enterprise Architecture (EA) and other critical stakeholders, tune the SQA processes, adopt tools and define re-usable templates in-line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework.Any other official duty that may be allocated by management from time to time.
    • Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test beds, and ensure that test beds are available for all planned white box and black box testing activities.
    • Engages, champions, and collaborates with technical teams / personnel in non-functional testing including integration, regression, load, performance, security, and usability testing.
    • Prepare, share, and review test results periodically, report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes.
    • Works with business units to perform post deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation review within defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works as per the business requirements.
    • Participates in formulation and Implementation of Software process improvement policies and strategies for ICT Division.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in preferably in Business or IT related field with 6 Years’ Experience in a banking Sector or a Telco.
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance & ICT Projects
    • Certification in Project Management or ITIL or ISTQB Foundation or ISTQB Agile Tester or Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ), DevOPs.

    Digital Channels Officers

    Key Responsibilities:

    Acquisition:

    This is the DFS champion in the branch networks who will champion uptake of DFS channels through: -

    • Recruitment of New customers by opening Accounts Virtually, On-board Credit Card customers, On-board Prepaid card customers, Recruit New customers for Virtual Loans and New Family Pay customers.
    • Driving Agent/Merchant/ MPESA Agents recruitment in the branch as per the laid down standards and CBK Guidelines as well as tracking and performance.
    • Drive uptake of DFS products in the Branch as per agreed KPI’s.

    Retention& Monetization:

    • Guide Agents/Merchants/MPESA Agents in their respective branches, through the uptake process and procedures, and follow up, assistance in terms of replenishing of materials, complaints resolve and general guidance and Ensure Nil dormancy.
    • Appraise agent activities in the Branch i.e. provide regular updates on the agent network and ensure Excellent Customer Service Delivery in Agents and Merchant Business by ensuring that Agents offer Steller class customer centrism principles as guided by the banks policies.
    • Work with Branch team to provide continuous one on one Agent training on operations and product knowledge and training & Awareness for agents and Merchants on Anti Money Laundering (AML/CFT).
    • Ensure Family Bank Agents and Merchants are visible with the correct branding collaterals.
    • Coordinate seminars, forums and Market Storms for Agents and Merchants and provide forums for sharing feedback.
    • Support the Branch on dormant PesaPap activations and dormant card renewals.
    • Ensure observance of the Central Bank of Kenya Guidelines on Agent Banking by sensitizing Agents and Merchants on the CBK provisions and need to comply with the same.
    • Work with DFS Head office team to resolve operational issues affecting DFS Business and also ensure uptake of DFS innovations in the Branch.
    • Carry out periodic and regular visits to the Merchants/Agents to drive Family Bank POS usage, ensure that dormancy levels of both Merchants are below 5 %.
    • Ensure that 90% of transactions are migrated to channels.
    • Responsible for reporting potential and actual Money Laundering Risk, including suspicious transactions in accordance with the laid down AML policies & procedures.
    • Hand hold new Digital Channels officers by providing them with guidance on how to grow their business.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as allocated by Branch Manager, Chief Digital Officer, Senior and Channels Managers or regional Supervisor.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    Qualifications.

    • University Degree in a Business related field
    • Experience in sales or client relationship management with a Minimum of 6 months is a MUST
    • Creative in sales process and be able to work in high pressure environments to meet targets.
    • High Integrity.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • Must have passion for selling
    • Must be mature & self-motivated.
    • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Packages.§ Must be fluent in English and Swahili.

    Information Technology Business Analyst

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead requirements analysis, validation, and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable; and transfer the same knowledge to the development team.
    • Document business requirements and processes for all business initiatives and projects.
    • Provide an analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement viz a viz information technology systems enhancement.
    • Develop high level solution designs while ensuring requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.

    The Person:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study from a recognized institution.
    • 5 Years’ Experience in a Banking or Telco ICT Department with at least 4 years’ experience in IT Projects, Banking Operations, Change Management, Emerging Technologies (channels, mobile and internet banking).
    • Certification in Project Management or ITIL Foundation, Certificate in CBAP is a Distinct Advantage
