    Examinations Associate (2 Positions)

    Basic job summary:

    This position is responsible for ensuring that Continuous Assessments Tests and End of Semester examinations for all faculties are administered with strict confidentiality and adherence to examinations regulations, and for supporting the exam coordinator in ensuring smooth school exam administration and processing in the school.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assist the exam coordinator in ensuring that exams are set on time by receiving the exam timetable from the exam coordinator and circulating to the lecturers;
    • Administer and ensure that Continuous Assessments Tests and End of Semester examinations are run with strict confidentiality;
    • Receive marked scripts and print Continuous Assessments Tests and overall mark sheets when lecturers submit the marked scripts;
    • Assist the Exam coordinator with the logistics for external moderation sessions;
    • Ensure the security of exam materials as well as storage of marked exam scripts in a retrievable way including disposing of exam scripts;
    • Assist the Exam Coordinator in ensuring the graduation list is prepared on time and free of error
    • Assign exam invigilators in consultation with the Exam coordinator and ensure the invigilators are aware of examination rules and regulations.
    • Ensure proposed changes in the exam marks by the faculty board are effected in the Academic Management System and post the marks to student’s portals;
    • File all exam related records;
    • Receive claim forms from invigilators and external examiners and forward them to payroll for processing.

    Minimum Academic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field from a recognized institution

    Experience:

    • At least 1-year relevant experience

    Associate - Partnerships and Internationalization

    Basic job summary:

    The Associate will provide support to the various schools and departments on campus to manage relationships with their partners. They will also help in the identification and development of the strategic partnerships and collaborations in line with the University’s Strategic plan.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Research on Potential Partners

    • Carry out research on the different organizations that would like to work with the university or different schools to identify potential areas of collaborations and value addition to the university.

    Communication

    • Ensure that partnerships and internationalization activities are publicized internally and externally via the website, social media, newsletters and annual report.

    Partnership Coordination System

    • Work with the representatives from the schools and departments to capture data/information partnership activities and update on the System to ensure that up-to-date information is available for all internal stakeholders.

    Events with visiting Delegations

    • Work in liaison with representatives from the schools and departments to manage events and visits to the University by international stakeholders.

    Evaluation of collaborations

    • Regularly review existing partnerships and advice the director and relevant entity on any necessary action based on the achievement of objectives.

    Minimum Academic Qualifications:

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • No Prior experience, any experience Desirable in communication, marketing, sales or public relations
