    Human Resource Manager

    Role Objective 

    • We are seeking an experienced, mature, and results-driven Human Resource Managerto lead the human resources department and oversee overall HR functions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between management and staff, manage the complete employee lifecycle, drive organizational culture, maintain staff welfare, and ensure smooth operational workflows, legal compliance, and a positive working environment that aligns with company and industry standards.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Handle end-to-end recruitment across all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Finance by preparing job adverts, posting openings, screening candidates, interviewing, and leading selection committees.
    • Run structured onboarding and orientation programs to help new hires easily adapt to the hotel\'s culture and operating standards.
    • Handle probation reviews and staff confirmations.
    • Partner with department heads on workforce planning to match seasonal staffing needs with hotel occupancy changes.
    • Build a positive work culture by resolving employee grievances, managing employee relations, and keeping communication open between staff and management.
    • Run the hotel’s performance review process by helping managers set KPIs, carry out evaluations, and pinpoint staff training needs.
    • Manage disciplinary matters fairly under company policy and Kenyan labor laws by carrying out investigations and leading hearings.
    • Comply with all Kenyan labor laws and statutory rules, including the Employment Act, OSHA, WIBA, and NITA.
    • Monitor labor law changes and guide management on updating policies and reducing risks.
    • Keep secure and accurate personnel files, contracts, leave sheets, and statutory papers.
    • Prepare and check monthly payroll details, covering attendance, overtime, allowances, salary advances, and deductions.
    • Run staff welfare initiatives, including meals, uniforms, transport, team-building events, and staff welfare programs.
    • Oversee leave scheduling (annual, sick, maternity, and paternity) to keep hotel operations running smoothly.
    • Spot skill gaps and organize internal and external training on customer service, safety, etiquette, and technical skills.
    • Run employee engagement programs, wellness campaigns, and recognition schemes like \"Employee of the Month\" to keep staff motivated.
    • Provide executive management with strategic advice on HR trends, labor cost control, and boosting productivity.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from a reputable institution. 
    • Professional HR certifications (e. g, CHRP-K) will be an added advantage.
    • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts)

    Receptionist/Administrative Assistant-Law Firm

    Role Objective 

    • Our client, A premier law firm in Nairobi engaging in various practice areas seeks add to their administration team a customer centric, professional and competent administrative assistant to ensure seamless operations.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that day to day activities run smoothly.
    • Maintain the proper records as per the firm’s process.
    • Maintenance of daily staff attendance register.
    • Ensuring that the Office Library register is up to date as expected.
    • Ability to receive and respond to calls and handle a busy switch board. 
    • Ensuring that liaison to advocates or their Personal Assistants is done in a timely fashion and relevant emails and calls are conveyed to them.
    • In charge of scanning all incoming documents as expected.
    • Ensuring timely dispatch of documents and also follow up of invoices and their payments.
    • Preparation and writing of vouchers.
    • Supervision of office cleaning, hygiene and sanitation.
    • Organizing and diarizing scheduling appointments, meetings and coordinating meetings for partners and staff members in a pro-active and efficient manner. 
    • In charge of overseeing operational and administrative tasks to ensure the office is functioning optimally.
    • Preparing briefs, minutes and reports for the meetings in a timely manner.
    • Handling reception and corporate communication via various channels, calls, emails, online platforms in the various set out protocol.
    • Attending to mail, phone calls and other corporate communication tools appropriately.
    • Carry out various secretarial duties, typing and drafting for staff members as required.
    • In charge of preparation of Petty Cash and other administrative budgets, follow up on resources utilization reports. 
    • In charge of ensuring that various subscriptions for the partners and firm and bills due are paid on a timely basis.
    • Coordinate logistical aspects for the partner and the office team such as accommodation, travel, visas and transfers at various points and destinations.
    • Handle all maintenance, repairs and operational issues to ensure seamless operations.
    • Act as the key liaison contact for the office between the various stakeholders such as government authorities, suppliers, clients, staff etc.
    • Prepare and be an integral part of execution team for office events as needed such as departmental and office meetings, dinner events etc.
    • Filing and proper records of documents.
    • Requisition of office stationery and supplies and ensuring that replenishment is done in good time and no gaps that could lead to inefficiency as well as in charge of stock management.
    • Any other related duties as allocated.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Diploma in Law/Business Administration/ Communication and or related field.
    • At least 3 years’ experience.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

    Audio Assistant-Nairobi

    Role Objective:

    • Our client is seeking an Audio Assistant to join their team in a full-time, in-person capacity. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, hands-on, and highly organized, with practical experience in sound engineering, live events, broadcasting, and technical equipment management.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Carry out comprehensive equipment checks and sound tests before events to identify and resolve technical issues in advance.
    • Operate and monitor audio systems during live broadcasts, concerts, corporate functions, and other productions.
    • Adjust sound levels, signal processing, and other audio settings to achieve clear and balanced output while taking into consideration venue acoustics and surrounding noise.
    • Prepare, install, position, secure, and connect audio, video, lighting, and related event equipment.
    • Assist with the recording and capture of high-quality speech, music, and other audio content.
    • Convert analogue recordings into digital formats and support post-production editing requirements.
    • Support the deployment, operation, and management of LED display systems used in live event environments.
    • Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and basic troubleshooting of technical equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
    • Ensure all equipment is handled, stored, and transported safely and efficiently.
    • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure smooth execution of productions.
    • Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned.
