    Audit & Risk Analyst

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • To monitor Technology Systems Status against set baseline standards and configurations, generate exception reports, assign actions and track remedial measures.
    • To drive compliance to KCB Group Technology Policies, Standards and Processes through awareness, education, proactive reporting and escalations.
    • To periodically review and report on the status of IT General Controls, recommend adjustments and changes required to improve efficacy.
    • To monitor IT Capacity Utilization, setting appropriate thresholds, exception triggers and reporting to senior management.
    • To provide 2nd Level review over the status of Software Asset Management and generate exception reports/improvement recommendations to senior management.
    • Periodically participate in IT advisory reviews for adequacy of Core IT Processes such as; 
    • To develop Governance and Control Instruments covering new and Emerging areas of Technology including Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation.
    • To Monitor the status of IT Operational Checklists and Playbooks and support system administrators in mitigating gaps in the current instruments.
    • Facilitate co-operation with Internal and external auditors coordinating access and provision of information required.
    • Technology Change Control Process, 
    • Business Continuity and Disaster recovery
    • Backup & Recovery Processes, 
    • Cyber security
    • Logical Access Management Processes, 
    • Incident and Problem Management processes and any other process as may be determined by Line Manager and produce management reports.

    Academic & Professional

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study    RQ

    Relationship Manager, Custody Services

    Main Duties & Responsibilities 

    • Source, expand and retain existing client relationships so as to increase market share and profitability.
    • Ensure financial and business growth targets assigned are achieved.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and identification of repeat and new business opportunities.
    • Responsible for managing existing portfolio of clients through continuous reviews and identification of client needs.
    • Provide service to customers with regard to account information, and queries raised.
    • Facilitate problem resolution with specialized units.
    • Contract review and negotiation with current and potential clients.
    • Source and prepare tenders / presentations for potential business opportunities.
    • Ensures all client KYC/AML documentation is up to date.
    • Identify and manage the risks associated with custody services business. 
    • Provide a service focused, knowledgeable and experienced point of contact for new and existing clients.
    • Attend Client meetings, Annual General Meetings, new business pitches and make presentations as appropriate.
    • Work closely with the Client investment committees and Fund secretaries so as to bolster good working relationship.
    • Ensure that all Custody Reports are submitted to clients as per SLA timelines. 
    • Responsibility for resolution of audit matters for custody services clients. 
    • Ensure billing and collection of revenue for custody services rendered
    • Maintain high level integrity and ethical standards – Uphold highest levels of integrity and ethical standards.

    Professional Qualifications and Experience

    • University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Capital Markets Program Certification
    • Five (5) years’ banking experience in the Financial/banking sector, three (3) of which should be in Relationship Management in Custodial Services.

    Relationship Manager, Investor Services

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    • Grow the Bank’s market share in Trustee Services 
    • Ensure that the assigned financial and business growth targets are achieved.
    • Undertake compliance reviews for all schemes under management in line with the CMA Act and Regulations. 
    • Ensure all compliance matters identified from the compliance reviews are fully resolved.
    • Manage and ensure all risks associated with Trustee Services are mitigated.
    • Implement the Trustee Services strategy In line with the Bank’s strategy and policies.
    • Provide a service focused, knowledgeable and experienced point of contact for new and existing clients.
    • Attend Client meetings / AGMs and make presentations as appropriate. 
    • Convene all the quarterly Trustee Meetings and undertake compliance reviews. 
    • Ensure annual general meetings are convened as required.
    • Work closely with the client investment committees so as to bolster good working relationship.
    • Ensure that all the relevant returns are made to the regulators as stipulated by the CMA Act and Regulations.
    • Responsibility for resolution of audit matters for Trustee Services business
    • Undertake regular KYC / AML reviews for all clients under management 
    • Ensure billing and collection of revenue for trustee services rendered
    • Perform any other duties which may be assigned
    • Maintain high level integrity and ethical standards.

    Professional Qualifications & Experience

    • University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Capital Markets Program Certification
    • Trustee Development Program Certification
    • Relevant certification in business development, Finance or its equivalent is an added advantage.
    • Four (4) years’ experience in Trustee Services sector,   three (3) of which should be in Relationship Management

    Senior Product Manager, Investor Services

    Main Duties & Responsibilities 

    • Drive product monitoring and control of custody and trustee services products in liaison with Relationship Managers, Operations Managers and other relevant stakeholders. 
    • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and application of established policies, processes, procedures and tools to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance and cost containment.
    • Ensure the implementation and regular review of product program guides for all custody and trustee services products
    • Stakeholder management to ensure alignment on delivery of custody and trustee services products.
    • Formulate effective product documentation, policies and procedures, SLA’s to effectively deliver the envisaged propositions.
    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify areas of improvement and develop tactical plans towards achieving set risk and compliance criteria.
    • Achieve Product and e-Channels revenue target and growth as determined.
    • Responsible for the implementation and adoption of all regulatory, compliance, FATCA, Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions related requirements contained in policies, procedures and processes within Investor services unit.
    • Manage and coordinate custody and trustee services client engagement efforts across relevant business units by ensuring that individuals are clear on their contribution and expected outcomes.
    • Create product awareness within the bank through quarterly training of branches, support and business-teams in order to embed a custody and trustee services product culture.

    Academic and Professional Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree in business management with a bias in Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Finance
    • Possession of MBA/ MSc. in a relevant field will be an added advantage
    • At least 10 years' work experience in Banking, six (6) of which should be in Custody Services or Trustee Services
    • Experience in general banking and custody operations
    • Experience in relationship management and service delivery
    • Experience in risk management for custody and trustee services 
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
    • Experience in product development, support, and implementation
    • Commercial awareness and business acumen to identify opportunities for revenue generation.
    • Technologically savvy and appreciation of current ICT trends. 
    • Integrity and courage to challenge actions within various business units and the status quo.
