    Global Knowledge Management Associate

    ABOUT YOU

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Marketing, Political Sciences, Communications, or other relevant field from a top university or the equivalent’s worth of work experience.
    • You have three or more years of work experience with demonstrated ability to grow in the roles and responsibilities you are given.
    • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information and ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
    • Strong research and quantitative skills including mastery of Microsoft Suite, and preferably familiarity with SharePoint, knowledge/content management tools, and CRM software like Salesforce.
    • You are comfortable with managing complex global operations processes and getting things done efficiently while still treating people with humility and respect.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW

    KM strategy and operations support:

    • Support Global KM Director in annual KM strategic planning process working with operations, Dalberg management team, Practice leads and Regional Directors.
    • Manage and serve as liaison for existing and future Dalberg knowledge assets, including Project outreach before/after projects, team surveys, ad-hoc research, subscriptions and various reports; and making them useful and usable by Dalberg Partners, consulting teams, and Practice areas.
    • Create resources for staff to learn about KM content generation and dissemination guidelines.
    • Remain up to date on leading knowledge management best practices and lead continuous improvement for Dalberg’s KM practices, including through professional development.

    KM Practice Area leadership:

    • Coordinate all knowledge-related needs for 5-6 Practice Areas (such as Policy & Advocacy and Organizational Effectiveness) that include their Intranet page, thought leadership, point of views, killer slide packs, expert lists, etc.
    • Drive the creation and maintenance of high impact KM assets, both for internal (pitch deck, project starter pack, blog posts, podcasts, etc.) and external dissemination (thought leadership, Point of View).
    • Facilitate access to needed business development resources (project qualifications, past proposals, relevant thought leadership/POVs) for all Partners and business development teams.
    • Conduct post project interviews of client teams to download key learnings and potentially relevant KM insights.
    • Serve as day-to-day contact person for all KM related queries be, they from staff, partners or from external vendors (IT systems, expert providers such as OnFrontiers, etc.)

    KM systems:

    • Develop and maintain all relevant KM systems, including databases, surveys, automated reports, and intranet pages.
    • Ensure quality and consistency across KM content and systems assets, in partnership with operation teams responsible for these assets.
    • Perform market research to compile potential IT providers to improve or replace internal KM platform.
    • Develop/test/pilot/implement new approaches to improve KM, manage RFP

    Global Learning and Development Operations Associate

    The Learning & Development (L&D) Operations Associate role in the Global Training Team will serve to execute and bring to life training activity within the firm. The L&D Operations Associate will work closely under the supervision of the Global L&D Manager. The L&D Operations Associate will be tasked with: event planning and execution of in-person and virtual global trainings; updating and maintaining high quality training content and systems; and creating thoughtful and compelling communications channels to help staff engage with training resources fully;.

    • You are a team player that knows how to build consensus and are willing to give and receive honest feedback, including supporting junior team members with their own growth and performance.
    • You are open to travel during the role, notably 6-8 times per year, to execute our in-person trainings.

    SPECIFIC SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

    • 2-3 years of work experience, with at least 1-2 years in an HR administrative or program operations role.
    • Experience planning and executing complex in-person and virtual events highly desired. Experience in learning and development is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English, and fluency in French or Spanish is a plus.
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
    • Superior organizational and time management skills.
    • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including on supporting budgeting and cost estimates.
    • Prior experience in customer/ client service roles is highly preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail in all domains of work.

    Global Learning and Development Manager

    The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager role in the Global Training Team will serve to launch and coordinate our training activity within the firm. The L&D Manager will work closely with the Global L&D Partner and initially work with and oversee an Operations Associate. Over time, a full-time content Associate will be added to the team to manage and build training content. The L&D Manager will be tasked with: overall roll-out of global trainings, including in-person and virtual training programs; setting the quality standard for training, including content and facilitation; managing a fit-for-purpose learning management system and communication channels to improve adoption of learning materials on demand; providing thought partnership and bringing to life strategic training priorities; as well as leading a small team to coordinate and produce effective training content that is highly relevant, up to date, and insightful for our people.

    • You bring Human Resources experience (Talent Management, Learning and Training, Professional Development) with 2+ years of managerial experience (people or program/project management), including strong coaching and training skills to support others’ learning, performance, and growth:
      • Preferable to have a degree in human resources, psychology, education, or other relevant field from a top university, but not necessary.
    • You have experience regularly executing in-person and virtual training workshops, bring expertise in instructional design or are an L&D specialist:
      • Preferable to have experience in creating competency-based training plans and content across functions.
    • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information and ability to adapt messages for different audiences:
      • Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus.
    • You are comfortable with managing complex global operations processes and getting things done efficiently while still treating people with humility and respect.
