    Global Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy:

    • Co-develop LG´s data roadmap with the program teams, the MEL team, and the digital health team to improve programs' efficacy and efficiency.
    • Identify and prioritize key opportunities for deep dive analytics.
    • Identify and develop data-related strategic partnerships aligned with the strategy of the organization.
    • Collaborate with the tech team to build necessary data architecture to enable robust data science and analytics.

    Analytics:

    • Collaboration with the Program Teams, the Global Senior MEL Manager, and the Research Manager to prioritize analytics and evidence generation for the organization.
    • Drive and conduct high-quality deep dive analytics that strengthens program impact and design as well as innovations and generate additional evidence for program improvement and advocacy.
    • Provide technical support to data-related innovations in line with Living Goods Innovation Strategy.
    • Leverage a range of statistical and analytical tools to transform the use of data and analytics across Living Goods into a strategic capability and enabler of improved service delivery and cost efficiency.
    • Provide technical support to the MEL and Research team to enhance the implementation of the Living Goods MEL framework and strengthen data quality.

    People management:

    • Recruit and manage the data analytics and data science team and consultants and ensure strong coordination of different workstreams with the different departments.
    • Set up effective shared services and ways of working for the data analysts’ team to provide high-quality and effective cross-functional and cross geography support.
    • Strengthen analytical capability across the organization.
    • Bring out the best in people and build a culture of high performance and engagement in line with the organization’s values.

    Business Development & Advocacy:

    • Contribute regularly to proposals, reporting, advocacy briefs, and other external communications that rely on robust analysis, visualization, and interpretation of data.
    • Conceptualize and initiate new, creative, and effective ways to tell impactful stories with our data to drive our fundraising and advocacy goals.
    • Represent the organization with funders, and partners and as part of conferences when necessary and relevant.

    Qualifications & Experience Required

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree plus à Professional qualification in Statistics, Data Science, Health economics, Epidemiology & Monitoring, Evaluation, and Public Health.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of ten (10) to 12 (twelve) years of relevant experience.

    Global Director, Program Strategy and Excellence

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy and Program Design:

    • Develops and modifies LG´s Theory of Change and supporting strategies (Supply chain, health financing).
    • Serves as a thought partner to the Chief Program Officer and the Country teams to evolve program strategies and designs and constantly drive LG Theory of Change.
    • Designs strong programs to ensure the robust impact on key RMNCH health outcomes, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and replicability.
    • Collaborate with the Innovation team to strengthen program efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Define Living Goods expansion strategy based on the New Country Blueprint.

    Program Excellence & Learning:

    • Oversees and drives program excellence across the various program modalities and geographies and ensures program designs are quickly iterated based on performance reviews.
    • Develops a center of excellence to support countries with the design of effective program enablers and tools. This will include both the enabling environment for strong Health Systems Strengthening approaches (policies, guidelines, supply chain, and financing) as well as efficient and effective service delivery based on Living Goods’ DESC model. Align approaches with the Global Director, Health.
    • Engage and develop effective relationships with the Chief Digital Health Officer’s team to ensure digital health tools are serving programs and are grounded in user insights.
    • Provide thought leadership based on lessons learned to drive program and policy changes as well as Business Development and communication efforts.
    • Oversee the project management of cross countries' restricted grants.

    Management:

    • Recruit and manage the Program Strategy and Excellence team including staff and consultants and ensure strong coordination of different technical workstreams.
    • Bring out the best in people and build a culture of high performance and engagement in line with the organization’s values.
    • Build an efficient governance mechanism to manage programs across geographies and serve service delivery teams.

    BD and Advocacy:

    • Serve as the program technical lead and provide key inputs and thought leadership to facilitate the development of high-quality proposals and partnerships.
    • Engage with prospect and technical funders as well as strategic partners, showcasing LG results, strategies, and approaches.

    Qualifications & Experience Required

    Qualifications:

    • Masters and Professional qualifications required with a Doctorate (Ph.D.) level qualification as desirable in Public Health, Health Systems Strengthening, Health Leadership Management, and Global Health.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 13 (thirteen) to 18 (eighteen) years of relevant experience.
