    Head of Campus (Cambridge)

    ROLE PURPOSE          

    The Head of Campus (Cambridge) will provide strategic, academic and operational leadership for the Cambridge division while promoting a Christ centred culture that aligns with the school's vision, mission and values.

    The role is responsible for delivering academic excellence, strengthening teaching quality, improving student outcomes and supporting sustainable enrolment growth. The successful candidate will also lead staff development, build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community, and contribute to the long term development of the Cambridge division as it transitions into an independent campus.

    The Head of Campus (Cambridge) will work closely with the Head of International Curriculum, the Managing Director, the Board of Directors and other functional leaders to support institutional objectives while maintaining high standards of governance, safeguarding and educational quality.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

    Academic Leadership

    • Provide strategic leadership for the Cambridge curriculum across the school.
    • Lead curriculum planning, implementation and continuous improvement in line with Cambridge International standards.
    • Promote excellence in teaching, learning and assessment across all year groups.
    • Monitor student academic performance and implement interventions that improve learning outcomes.
    • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in curriculum delivery and classroom practice.
    • Support the continued expansion of the Cambridge curriculum as additional year groups are introduced.

    School Leadership

    • Provide visible and values driven leadership across the Cambridge division.
    • Support the strategic growth of the Cambridge division as it develops into an independent campus.
    • Contribute to institutional planning and continuous school improvement initiatives.
    • Represent the Cambridge division during leadership meetings, Board engagements and external education forums.
    • Promote collaboration across departments to achieve organisational objectives.

    People Leadership

    • Lead, coach and mentor teaching and administrative teams to achieve high levels of performance.
    • Recruit, develop and retain talented educators and school leaders.
    • Drive employee engagement through effective communication, coaching and performance management.
    • Support succession planning and leadership development across the Cambridge division.
    • Promote a collaborative culture that reflects the school's Christian values.
    • Student Experience and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment for students.
    • Build positive relationships with parents, students and the wider school community.
    • Lead parent engagement initiatives and resolve academic or student related concerns.
    • Promote student wellbeing, safeguarding and positive discipline practices.
    • Represent the school during community engagements, educational forums and school events.

    Operational Leadership and Financial Management

    • Support student enrolment and retention initiatives that contribute to the growth of the Cambridge division.
    • Collaborate with Admissions and Communications teams to strengthen the school's market position.
    • Contribute to annual budgeting and resource planning for the Cambridge division.
    • Approve academic resource requirements and oversee the effective utilisation of educational resources.
    • Support the financial sustainability and long term growth of the Cambridge division.

    Governance, Compliance and Quality Assurance

    • Maintain compliance with Cambridge International standards, Ministry of Education regulations and safeguarding requirements.
    • Develop and implement academic policies that support educational excellence.
    • Lead quality assurance processes, inspections and programme evaluations.
    • Prepare reports and present academic and operational updates to senior leadership and the Board.
    • Promote strong governance, accountability and continuous improvement across the Cambridge division.

    MEASURABLE OUTCOME

    • Deliver strong academic performance across all Cambridge programmes.
    • Improve student enrolment and retention within the Cambridge division.
    • Maintain high levels of staff engagement and improve staff retention.
    • Strengthen parent satisfaction through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
    • Maintain compliance with Cambridge International standards, Ministry of Education requirements and safeguarding policies.
    • Support the successful transition of the Cambridge division into an independent campus.
    • Develop a strong leadership pipeline through effective coaching and succession planning.
    • Contribute to the financial sustainability and continued growth of the Cambridge division.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education is required.
    • A Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership or a related field will be an added advantage.
    • TSC Registration is mandatory.
    • Cambridge curriculum training or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
    • Approximately 15 to 20 years of experience within education is preferred, although candidates with more years of relevant experience will be considered.
    • Experience in a senior leadership position within a Cambridge, international or private school is required.
    • Experience leading curriculum implementation, academic improvement and school operations.
    • Experience managing teaching teams and developing future leaders.
    • Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum standards, safeguarding and educational compliance.
