Role Description
Our client in the banking sector is seeking a Head of Religious Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with churches and religious institutions. Key responsibilities include acquiring new customers, retaining existing ones, and driving income growth through the sales of the bank’s products tailored for the religious sector.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all new business activities comply with AML/KYC and CTF laws and regulations, and regularly update customer information.
- Drive growth in the existing deposit portfolio by meeting organizational targets, focusing on current accounts, collection business, and wholesale deposits with targeted institutions.
- Onboard new clients, identify and address their needs, and ensure the service provided aligns with their expectations.
- Meet income generation targets through current clients and recruit customers into digital financial services.
- Stay informed of trends and changes within the Churches and Religious Institutions sector both locally and internationally.
- Focus on deposit mobilization from Churches and Religious Institutions.
- Provide advisory services and excellent customer support to resolve inquiries, fostering customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain customer sales coverage plans, managing each relationship according to the Bank’s customer service standards, with regular reviews of customer portfolios to assess future needs and income potential.
- Efficiently develop and present new business proposals to ensure potential opportunities are realized.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients to expand Business Banking solutions.
- Proactively initiate and maintain customer-Bank communication at all levels to ensure exceptional service.
- Adhere to all of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and Central Bank requirements.
- Exemplify the Bank’s brand and corporate values in both internal and external interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business related field/Theology
- Strong presentation skill set.
- Good analytical skills.
- Highly effective communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of cooperation with others and is responsive to the banks and team’s needs.
- AMC/CFT training/knowledge.
- Have Served as a Bishop/Pastor/Priest/Catechist/Reverend within the last 5 years

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, manage and execute an annual strategic marketing and communications plan for company to span across all communication media (online and offline) and reach appropriate target audiences, based upon specific performance goals.
- Develop, manage and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for print and all offline communication
- Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline.
- Manage E-commerce, customer service line and B2C project respectively
- Performing administrative tasks such as updating databases and spreadsheets
- Conducting market research and developing effective marketing strategies
- Creating engaging and SEO friendly content for the company’s website, social media pages and for press releases
- Coordinating with the Director to schedule all marketing activities
- Communicating with clients on the company allocated marketing line and advise them accordingly.
- Ensuring proper portrayal of brand’s image and tone
- Conducting research on latest social media market trends and keywords
- Tracking the subscriber count and the online sales performance
- Maintaining the company’s all social media accounts (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Linked In, Tik tok, You tube)
- Creating internal and external advertising videos for the different brands, we work with.
- Attending marketing events and training sessions
- Analyzing and tracking online marketing metrics
- Work on the B2C project by taking photos, cropping and updating them on the website together with the project manager
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Other Requirements
- At least 4 years’ experience in Marketing
- Relevant Degree and/or Diploma in Marketing
- Experience in Website management
- Experience in managing social media pages
- Experience in making videos, handling media related response
