Head of Retail - Office Supplies at Achyutam

Position Summary

• The Head of Retail will be responsible for leading and growing the retail business for office supplies and stationery products across multiple store locations. The role involves managing store operations, driving sales, optimizing inventory, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of retail stores selling stationery, office supplies, school supplies, books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and related products.
• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage store managers and retail teams across multiple locations.
• Monitor sales performance, footfall, product movement, and inventory levels.
• Ensure product availability and effective merchandising across stores.
• Identify new store expansion opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Drive customer service excellence and maintain high operational standards.
• Manage pricing, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience managing multi-store retail operations.
• Experience in stationery, office supplies, educational products, retail, bookstores, or similar retail environments is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and inventory management skills.
