    HR Business Partner – Senior Manager

    Job Purpose Statement

    To support the Senior HRBP in partnering with business leadership in the design and execution of people strategies that enable the delivery of the business agenda for the assigned division. The role provides strategic leadership across all HR disciplines — including workforce planning, talent management, organization design, employee experience, and change management — ensuring alignment with NCBA’s values, HR policy standards, and best practices.

    The HR Business Partner – Senior Manager acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing data-driven insights, coaching, and thought leadership to drive performance, engagement, and organizational capability

    Job Specifications

    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.

    Professional:

    • At least 8 years’ experience in HR, 5 of which should have been in a management capacity in a similar sized organisation.
    • HR Certification recognized by IHRM (e.g. Diploma in HRM /CHRP ongoing or completed)

    Desired work experience:

    • Proven track record of consistently supporting the achievement of an organisation’s people strategy, with a market reputation of being a trusted advisor on matters pertaining to HR.
    • In-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations- will be an advantage. 
    • Sound working knowledge and understanding of all labour regulations and HR practices.

    Senior Relationship Manager, Chinese Desk

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Relationship Manager, Chinese Desk, reporting to the Director, Commercial & SME Banking, will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of Chinese-owned businesses. The role is focused on delivering a healthy balance sheet through asset and deposit growth, offering tailored banking solutions and maintaining high-quality relationships with Chinese clients. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for this niche segment and will work closely with internal teams to deliver a superior customer experience aligned with NCBA’s growth strategy and drive revenue growth

    Ideal Job Specifications
    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
    • Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
    • Fluency in Chinese, both written and spoken

    Professional Qualification:

    • CPA, ACCA, Credit Management, Customer Relationship Management Course.

    Desired work experience:

    • Minimum 7 years banking experience in sales, customer service and relationship management, with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Credit skills and knowledge of Commercial & SME Banking products and policies.
