    Senior Business Development Manager

    We are looking for Senior Business Development Manager to join Bolt for Business. You'll be leading Bolt for Business in Kenya, leading and building the local team, whilst identifying, working and closing your own deals with the biggest Tier 1 clients. B4B has big targets, the product is evolving, getting better and better and our ambitions are high - aiming for 10X growth in the next 12 months. To achieve that, we're looking for focused, hungry people, brimming with ambition and talent - just waiting for the opportunity to show us what they can do.     • Managing the in country sales team and performance
    • Responsible for the country sales chain and KPIs
    • Interviewing and building your local team
    • Driving, coaching, performance managing and motivating your team

    • Develop and execute in country client acquisition strategies
    • Present country sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
    • Design and implement a country strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence

    Job Requirement

    • BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field
    • At least 5-7 years of successful previous experience in B2B Sales
    • A self starter, keen, ambitious and hungry to get results - with a proven record of managing teams to exceed targets and KPIs
    • A personal history of constantly exceeding sales targets with Tier 1 clients
    • Relentless and experienced in identifying Tier 1 target leads, reaching out and generating sales with the biggest clients
    • Experience building a team, including interviewing and identifying talent
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and the local language, with a strong personality
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close with Tier 1 clients
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise of selling B2B business services into large businesses
    • Experience of religiously using a CRM (Pipedrive would be advantageous) and managing team performance via CRM tools
    • Experience coaching, performance managing and improving team performance
    • Organised, process driven, with a great knowledge of sales techniques in B2B sales

    Operations Coordinator

    We are looking for an Operations Coordinator who can work together with the team in growing our business across Kenya, and to be involved in Driver training, onboarding and coordination of demand operations in Mount Kenya Region. This person will support the ongoing actions of the team in entrenching our growth and expansion in towns and cities within Kenya, focusing on the Mount Kenya Region (Nanyuki, Nyeri, Meru and Embu).

    • Support Bolt's business operations in Kenya from a remote working structure out of Mount Kenya Region, reporting into the team in Nairobi
    • Join in figuring out the logistics of how many drivers are needed where and when, and provide support in any defined actions to make this happen
    • Onboard new drivers to Bolt's platform - educating the drivers about Bolt's business model, how to successfully join and earn using Bolt's platform and managing Driver actions on the platform
    • Train, support and actively monitor drivers to ensure quality service and if needed, take actions in solving encountered problems or finding solutions to any issues raised by Drivers operating on the platform in Mount Kenya Region
    • Develop and execute strategies to keep the churn rate at minimum levels
    • Manage the communication and dissemination of all information from the Country's central operations in Nairobi, to/with the drivers in Mount Kenya Region
    • Recommend and implement supply related processes – scaling is one of our priorities; you will help us find the most efficient way to transform thousands of leads into active drivers and active drivers to happy drivers
    • Analyse data – you will monitor and report on the results of all our engagements, quality and utilisation metrics in Mount Kenya Region and ensure a great experience for users and drivers on the platform in Mount Kenya Region
    • Engage and report - a huge part of our business is providing safe, convenient and affordable rides; you will therefore support with in-country related marketing activation projects targeted at generating increased demand for the onboarded drivers in Mount Kenya Region
    • Create loyal fans by handling customer queries like a boss


    • Have 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Sales or Business Development related roles
    • Have excellent communication and people relations skills
    • Have balanced experience in the use of analytical skills and analytical thinking in past or present work experience (advanced Excel skills are a must)
    • You are social, comfortable with written & spoken English and you can easily network with people of different backgrounds
    • You are a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day
    • Experience in or passionate about the sharing economy, transport technology, the startup ecosystem or dynamic high-growth companies
    • Experience in product launches or running a technology-enabled business within Mount Kenya Region

    Country Manager

    We're looking for a Country Manager to join our Bolt Food team and manage all business operations in the country.

    • Own and manage Bolt Food business operations in your country
    • Setup and scale operational processes for courier operations, restaurant operations, and other functional areas in your market
    • Hire and manage an Operations and Sales team
    • Define and reach business goals, mainly focused on business growth, profitability, and stakeholders' great experience (eaters, restaurants, couriers)
    • Analyse metrics and implement projects to improve operational and financial city metrics. We are a data-driven company
