    Manager of Strategy and Innovation


    With over 5000 CloudWorkers and 200 Clients, Delivery is one of the high paced, growing functions in CloudFactory. Strategy and Innovation within Delivery is responsible to drive the overall design and implementation of Delivery strategies that come with scale and changing business models. The Delivery Manager in this team will lead the function and supervise a small team and oversee multiple, functional/ cross-functional project teams. The role will primarily support the Directors of the Delivery locations in their decision making for policies and processes as well as implementing the pilots and experiments to help them scale their teams and portfolio.

    This role reports to the VP of Delivery.


    1. Lead the strategic introduction of platform business model, technology and processes into the Delivery organization. This includes supporting both internal as well as external tools and technologies to drive efficiency.
    2. Understand future needs and opportunities in order to propose and/or translate them into technology or processes that create value within Delivery.
    3. Lead the research activities for innovation and growth areas, and apply experimental development and early design activities to validate ideas.
    4. Inform and drive consensus/decision making by Delivery Leadership on the key decisions or processes that will impact the Delivery organization. Also, ensure that their feedback is incorporated into requirements for technology or proposals for new/refined processes.
    5. Manage a portfolio of projects that support Delivery to continuously and measurably improve processes, productivity, innovation and collaboration.
    6. Develop and oversee the implementation of a change management program to support the new strategy or technology. This includes training and enablement of existing users as well as documenting the process for new users.
    7. Lead new thinking and nurture new ideas from concept, through pilot and into mainstream Delivery operations.
    8. Develop new capabilities and implement into the business. This includes new location, workforce capabilities and skills as well as new market opportunities.
    9. Analyse information on markets, channels, clients, prospects and competitors, focusing on comparisons and market trends.
    10. Work with Delivery business leaders to create actionable strategy-to-action project plans with sufficient detail to successfully execute, achieve specified milestones and achieve the business results.
    11. Support Delivery Leadership in Quarterly goals setting process as well as functional summits and offsites
    12. Represent Delivery in various squads and initiatives requiring cross functional collaboration.

    • Demonstrated history and success managing multiple, complex projects.


    • Minimum of 7+ years proven strategic and project management experience managing concurrent, large scale technology projects which include business process, technology and training deliverables.
    • Management of global project teams in a matrixed environment.
    • Demonstrated history of contributing to process improvements.
    • Experience building or creating a team from scratch would be a plus.

    The Role

    As a Delivery Associate with CloudFactory, you will be the bridge between two sets of clients: CloudFactory’s customers and CloudFactory workers. You will help guide the conversations between the two clients and make sure there is alignment across the board on the work we’re streaming to from both parties.

    You will work alongside the Project Delivery Team (or Pod as we like to call them) to ensure they are making decisions that line up with the CloudFactory way of delivering amazing work back to our clients. You will be in charge of all aspects of the client’s life cycle starting with custom onboarding assessments to tracking the daily run rate of hours delivered. You will need to keep track of client expectations or SLAs to ensure that our WorkStreams are healthy and running smoothly. Your success lies in the success of our customers and workers.

    The Responsibilities

    • Developing progress reports regarding ongoing projects and possible obstacles facing a project.
    • Keeping the team focused on the project and moving toward reaching expected goals.
    • Helping to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with other stakeholders.
    • Implementing strategies that will improve the throughput or quality of the project.
    • Ensuring that completed tasks meet quality expectations.


    The Fit

    You love building relationships, and you can manage through ups and downs. Being close to the customers and the workers will require getting your hands dirty from time to time. You need to be able to understand the work and that usually requires doing it first. Fitting in with us requires the ability to be flexible with working times as most of our clients are in the US with a few in Australia and Europe.

    You’re a great communicator. You have impeccable communication skills and are an excellent all-around communicator - verbal, written, and interpersonal. You’ll need to empathize with our customers and work cross-culturally with team members across the globe.

    You are results-focused. You have a strong understanding of business systems and operations strategy with an ability to effectively interpret and communicate business and technical concepts with all levels of an organization, from executives to developers. You have a bias for action.

    The Experience

    The experience required to work with us is at least 3 years doing western-style client communication and experience in dealing with large projects. You have experience working with highly capable and driven individuals and have the drive and intellect to handle tough situations. Project Management, general management, and experience in a high-growth tech company are a plus. Technical experience, although not a must, would be another big plus. A hunger for learning about AI or courses related to AI - you guessed it - another plus.
