Academic Qualifications:

• Diploma in Optometry
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experienceLicensed Optometrist with Optometrists’ Association of Kenya(OAK) / Kenya Health Professionals Oversight Authority (KHPOA)

Desirable Competencies:

• Proficient in computer applications
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, physiology, and common eye conditions.
• Ability to prescribe and fit corrective lenses accurately.
• Attention to detail and good record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Adhere to the regulations, guidelines, and standards set by regulatory bodies OAK/KHPOA.

Academic Qualifications

• Diploma in Community Oral Health
• Registered with a valid license from Oral Health Association of Kenya (OHAK) / Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
• Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience 
• Desirable Competencies:
• Proficient in computer applications
• Good communication skills
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene and oral health
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
• Compliance with regulatory and Oral Safety standards
