    Brand to Store Manager- Jumia (Full Time)

    Brand to Store Manager leads B2S channel end to end through team management, PnL ownership, pricing strategy, brand reporting and negotiation, etc . 

    He/she plays a key role in delivering exponential growth of the channel through team management, strategy execution and performance management. 

    Secondly, he/she is in charge of recruiting, training and driving sales of new retailers with the support of his/her sales team.

    Finally, he /she must deliver a world class experience to its retailer network.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement business plan
    2. Manage a team of 15+ sales representatives
    3. Spend significant time in the field with the sales team and stores to collect insights about Jumia & our model, then transform it into actionable levers.
    4. Drive recruitment and  onboarding of stores
    5. Reach sales, recruitment, engagement, activation targets 
      1. Deliver exceptional growth of stores database through combination of digital and field work
      2. Delivering engagement of stores measured through order repetition rate
      3. Deliver strong activation rate of the database through training
    6. Support assortment replenishment and sourcing
    7. Drive sales of full B2S assortment
    8. Drive performance actions based on data insights and business analytics
    9. Manage PnL end to end to drive profitability
    10. Weekly report on performance vs target and action taken during the week.

    Expected background and technical skills:

    1. Bachelor's or Master's degree from top business schools and universities, 
    2. 5+ years of professional experience in project management, company creation or  FMCG distribution.
    3. Strong expertise of Kenya distribution market
    4. Proven track record of impact.
    5. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel

    7. English & French speaking

    Regional Offline Sales Project Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

    What is Offline Sales:​

    Offline sales is split into 3 main channels: 

    1. Business to Consumer: a network of 150,000 sales consultants across 10 countries placing orders on Jumia on behalf of other people. On each order placed  they earn a commission. 
    2. Pick Up Station: a network of physical locations where customers can come to inquire about Jumia, place an order and collect it. It is comparable to a franchised Jumia universe
    3. Business to Business: new business line to support brands reach retailers & corporate in a more efficient way than their current distribution model. Retailers are then able to directly replenish their stock on Jumia.

    Offline sales channels objective is to overcome e-commerce main challenges of internet access, how to place an order online and trust. Therefore its a key acquisition marketing, customer acquisition and sales channels; representing c. 15% of Jumia Group performance.

    Finally, Offline Channels have the aim of empowering entrepreneurs and generating employment through the full support of Jumia established brand. 

    Regional Offline Sales Project Manager leads strategic growth projects across 10 markets in Africa and across the Jumia eco-system (Jumia Mall, Jumia On Demand Services and Jumia Pay).

    Project examples: Reach 200 Pick up stations in each country, grow JPay share of the Offline Sales portfolio to 10%, develop Brand to Store solution across markets

    Regional Offline Sales Project Manager:​

    Regional Offline Sales Project Manager plays a key role in delivering exponential growth of the channels across countries through end to end project management.

    This will include, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders on the project strategy, building playbooks (routine, processes, action oriented report,etc) and PMO to follow execution.

    Finally, he/she is in charge of supporting the execution in countries through the local teams across 10 countries.

    Your position as JForce Regional Performance Manager entails:​

    1. End to end project management from cracking the model to scaling it across 10 countries
    2. Building playbook and SOPs on priority projects
    3. Align cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Country CEOs. central head of departments)
    4. Weekly PMO follow up with country Head of Offline Sales
    5. Weekly deep dive in countries project performance to understand 
    6. Recommend actions to deliver incremental growth and deliver on budget
    7. Support execution of actions recommended, presenting it to the team and follow up execution
    8. Weekly reports

    A successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements:​

    1. Strong analytical skills
    2. Structured and well organized 
    3. Good interpersonal skills to motivate and convince internal stakeholders on actions to take
    4. Resistant to stress 
    5. Performance driven, action & result oriented 

    Expected background and technical skills:​

    • An ideal candidate would possess 2+ years experience in management consulting or company creation.
    • Proven track record of impact and project management end to end
    • ​Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
