    Manager – Project Governance

    The Position:

    The Manager Project Governance ensures that all Technology projects are completed on time as scoped, within budget, within quality and within the delivery governance framework. The holder of the role will oversee all Technology project operations from inception to execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
    • Business case reviews to ensure sharp capture of Business Drivers, Benefits, KPIs and development of measurement metrics
    • Effectively communicate project expectations, extent of scope, schedule, impact and KPIs to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
    • Maintain the projects delivery performance against KPIs.
    • In collaboration with impacted Technology units, estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Ensure all running projects/programs are well appropriately resourced - and manage resourcing conflicts.
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items – Develop budgets, manage assigned Technology projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
    • Manage project closure with effective hand over, lessons learnt and with assessment of post-delivery benefits realization.
    • Ensure all project delivered products are assembled, maintain, approved, and retained as appropriate.
    • Management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
    • In collaboration with relevant Technology units, establish practices, templates, tools and partnerships to expand and mature Technology projects delivery practice and capabilities

    The Person:  

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
    • A certification in PRINCE II (Practitioner) or Agile PM or PMI-ACP or Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    • 7 years’ experience in Technology with at least 4 years’ experience in Technical Project Management.

    IT Incident Management Specialist

    The Position:

    The IT Incident Management Specialist will manage the lifecycle of all unplanned interruptions, malfunctions, and quality reductions of provided IT services. The main goals are to follow incident management protocols and restore provided IT services to normal operation as quickly as possible.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Proper I.T service delivery through I.T Incident Management
    • Be accountable for the following processes – Incident Management, Service Request, Catalog management, Knowledge Management and Business reporting
    • Ensure all incidents are logged into the ITSM tool and workaround is provide if immediate resolution is not available.
    • Monitor all the changes in the technology environment to avert incidents.
    • Work closely with Change Management to ensure the environment is Stable.
    • Identify areas of automation in System monitoring.
    • Coordinate the Monitoring team and come up with Intelligent reports and trends for Management.
    • Provide continuous Improvement of I.T through branch visits, IT Service awareness and workshop trainings etc.
    • Continually measure the performance of the service providers and design improvements to processes, services, and infrastructure in order to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.

    The Person:  

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • University degree from a recognized institution preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
    • MCP / ITIL Certification
    • 3 years’ experience in Technology with at least 2 years’ experience in Client Support and Office Automation

    Software Quality Assurance Analyst

    The Position:

    The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will perform quality reviews on business requirements, develop standardized testing methods and strategies, lead execution of functional and non-functional tests and implementing quality testing and reporting processes to track and ensure adherence to quality software development process and products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensures that the business requirements are complete, precise and testable.
    • Works with project team to define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, plan test schedules or strategies and Identifies test resources, estimates test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and ensures that the test strategy is achieved.
    • Develop, document and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
    • Works collaboratively with the business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based upon business requirements and ensures that the test cases are traceable to the requirements. In collaboration with GEA and other critical stakeholders, tune the SQA processes, adopt tools and define re-usable templates in-line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework. Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test beds and ensure that test beds are available for all planned white box and black box testing activities.
    • Engages, champions and collaborates with technical teams / personnel in non-functional testing including integration, regression, load, performance, security and usability testing.
    • Prepare, share and review test results periodically, report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes.
    • Works with business units to perform post deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation review within defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works as per the business requirements.
    • Participates in formulation and Implementation of Software process improvement policies and strategies for IT division.

    The Person:

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any Business or IT related field.
    • Certification in Project Management or ITIL or ISTQB Foundation or ISTQB Agile Tester or Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ).
    • 3 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology with hands on experience in:
    1. Banking Systems & Operations.
    2. IT Projects.
    3. Software Applications & Support.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
