    Critical Care Nurse

    Overall Responsibility

    • To provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients by delivering continuous assessment, advanced patient monitoring, life-support interventions, and evidence-based nursing care while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/HDU.
    • Monitor patients\' vital signs and promptly respond to changes in clinical condition.
    • Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and blood products safely and accurately.
    • Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
    • Assist in emergency procedures, resuscitation, and advanced life support interventions.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

    • Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing.
    • Registered Nurse with a valid Nursing Council of Kenya practicing license.
    • Valid BLS and ACLS certification;
    • At least two years\' experience in ICU, HDU, Emergency Department, or a similar critical care setting.

    Overall Responsibility

    • To support the pharmacist in the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring patients receive the correct drugs at the right dose, while maintaining proper pharmaceutical records, stock controls, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines to patients.
