    Field Sales Representative

    Job Summary

    Our client, a leading provider of dental equipment and consumables, seeks a Field Sales Representative to drive growth across Kenya. The role involves building strong client relationships, promoting premium products to clinics and hospitals, and engaging dental professionals to boost sales.

    Job Description

    • Promote and sell a diverse range of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, and industry events.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with dental practitioners and key decision-makers.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients fully understand usage, benefits, and    maintenance.
    • Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing, and emerging trends in the dental supplies market.
    • Collaborate with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional client service.
    • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.

    Sales Assistant

    About the Role

    We are recruiting motivated Sales Assistant to promote and sell our range of quality construction materials. You will be responsible for building relationships with contractors and construction professionals while achieving sales targets in your designated territory.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Actively prospect and develop new customers in the construction sectors
    • Conduct site visits to contractors, builders, and construction companies
    • Present and demonstrate our construction products
    • Provide technical advice and product recommendations to clients
    • Prepare and deliver sales quotations and proposals
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Maintain and grow professional relationships with existing customers
    • Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities
    • Process orders and coordinate with warehouse for timely delivery
    • Attend site meetings and project discussions with clients
    • Provide after-sales support and address customer concerns
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM system
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events

    Requirements

    • Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
    • 1-3 years of sales experience (construction, steel, roofing or building materials industry preferred)
    • Knowledge of roofing systems or construction materials is an advantage
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently
    • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities
    • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
    • Valid driver\'s license
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
    • Ability to understand technical product specifications

    CAD Designer

    Job Purpose

    The CAD Designer will be responsible for the takeoff of detailed and precise technical drawings and designs using CAD and other software’s. They will collaborate with the sales team, engineers and project managers to translate concepts into actionable designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards, projects specifications, and client’s requirements while optimizing efficiency and material usage. 

    Primary responsibilities

    • Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and specifications for projects, ensuring all designs meet project requirements and specifications.
    • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify design requirements and specifications.
    • Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients, ensuring timely updates and adjustments.
    • Identify design challenges and propose effective engineering solutions
    • Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Assist in project planning and scheduling, providing input on design timelines and resource needs.
    • Contribute to design improvements and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure that the proposals for the clients meet the agreed turnaround time of 24 hours for roof cover, gutters & ceiling boards BQs and 48 hours for Light gauge steel BQs
    • Support the Project’s Supervisor in carrying out site inspection and measurements
    • Peer review light gauge steel structures design.
    • Prepare light gauge steel and other BDL product quotations.
    • Represent the Company in technical site meetings with clients and consultants on a need basis.

    Secondary responsibilities

    • Stay updated on the latest CAD software, Industry and technology trends, implementing new tools and techniques as needed.
    • Attend NCA/BORAQS seminar for NCA CPD points.
    • Perform any other duties assigned to you by your direct supervisor

    Education

    • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or any other related field.

    Experience

    • 2-5 years of prior work experience in technical drafting, construction design.

    Personal attributes

    • Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings. 
    • Working knowledge of CAD software. 
    • Ability to take site measurements. 
    • Ability to undertake structural designs.
    • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
    • Exceptional service orientation. 
    • Outstanding communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to influence, collaborate, deliver and partner at senior levels in the organization. 
    • Ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
