    Senior Technical Officer

    Reporting to the AMPATH MU Lead-Western, the successful candidates will among others be responsible for the following: Oversee all technical activities, adherence and compliance of the approved work plan; coordinate technical. support in the design and implementation of reliable strategies for improved antiretroviral therapy (ART) patient adherence, retention and prevention and other care; work closely with the AMP A TH MU Lead, Western to ensure standardization of HIV (fB care, treatment and prevention services (HTS, PMTCT, VMMC) across all the project supported sites; provide leadership to HIV care and treatment service delivery integration activity design, planning, and implementation; ensure the development and implementation of the minimum packages of care for HTS/VMMC/PMTCT/TB/HIV Care and Treatment across all supported sites, in line with the National program; providing day-to-day contact to provide technical assistance to each cluster teams on HIV care & treatment, TB and VMMC activities to establish and strengthen implementation of integrated and comprehensive HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment and TB activities at each supported site, improve quality of services and monitor progress towards achievement project objectives; and more.     OVC Senior Technical Officer (Bungoma and Busia Counties)

    Reporting to the OVC & DREAMS Service Delivery Manager, the OVC Senior Technical Officer will be responsible for the technical aspects of project implementation that relate to community and families, and ensure strong linkages with health facilities and other service delivery points. She/he will support the OVC & DREAMS Service Delivery Manager in providing technical direction to project implementation and ensure the project meets stated goals, expected results and reporting requirements. She/he will take technical leadership role in coordination with GOK, local community organizations, and other partners. The OVC STO will ensure that the project structures are fully operational within the cluster counties, working closely with the County OVC Project Officers. This position will coordinate closely with the other project management staff to ensure quality service delivery and systems strengthening within cluster counties. She/he will be knowledgeable about evidence-based and state-of-the-art social service delivery approaches, health systems and county child protection structures.

    County OVC Project Officers 6 Positions

    Reporting to the OVC & DREAMS Service Delivery Manager (for Kisumu) and Senior Technical Officer (other counties), the County OVC Project Officer will monitor and report on all project activities related to OVC service delivery. The County OVC PO will be the project focal person at county level in Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega and Siaya Counties, working closely with County government and partners and coordinating project efforts to build partner capacity in OVC service delivery. The County OVC PO is expected to have thorough knowledge and experience in OVC service delivery, Kenyan social service sector, health systems and county child protection system. He/she must demonstrate service-oriented approach that will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to OVC and their families.     OVC & Dreams Service Delivery Manager

    Moi University College of Health Sciences through AMPATH is implementing a five-year USAID 4TheChild project targeting OVC, adolescent girls and young women in Western region of Kenya. The project seeks to increase use of quality county-led health and social services in the target Counties working closely with national and county government structures. AMPATH currently supports the Ministry of Health in 10 Counties of Western Kenya Region implementing a robust HIV care and treatment project.

    Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party, the OVC & DREAMS Service Delivery Manager will manage, coordinate, oversee, and monitor service delivery processes, approaches and capacity building interventions targeting local implementing partners (LIPs) and key stakeholders to assist in quality service delivery to OVC & DREAMS beneficiaries. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and oversight in the provision of the DREAMS Core package of interventions targeted at reducing Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) vulnerability to HIV. His/her project management skills and technical knowledge in HIV care and treatment and OVC programming will ensure that USAID 4TheChild Project delivers high-quality programming within the targeted counties.
