    Administrative Assistant

    Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant Job

    • Attend to parents’ administrative needs by providing information and material
    • Handle customer complaints and oversee housekeeping needs of the school
    • Control stock – source, keep, disburse, control and evaluate usage and replenish stock (learning material, stationery, PACEs)
    • Collect and maintain information on children – dietary needs, age, medical conditions etc and share this with the relevant authorities
    • Preparation of termly budgets and hand over to Finance.
    • Prepare requisitions as and when required
    • Make appointments for the Director
    • Coordinate all transport needs in liaison with the teachers in charge and transport providers
    • Maintain and control all administrative records and documents in both soft and hard copy.

    Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree in administration/PR/Customer Service or equivalent
    • At least three (3) years relevant work experience
    • A good understanding of the education sector in the country
    • Stock control and supplies management skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Effectual team player and service orientated.

    School Nurse

    Responsibilities for the School Nurse Job

    • Provide nursing care and physical screening to students; assess students and implement first aid measures for students as needed;
    • Assume responsibility for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, management, and referral activities for students;
    • Orient the staff and teach specific medical procedures for the evaluation and maintenance of the medically involved student in the classroom;
    • Maintain clinic equipment and assesses the need for consumable supplies on an annual basis;
    • Initiate emergency procedures for students and staff as needed;
    • Provides ongoing health information to pupils, parents, school personnel;
    • Maintains, evaluates, and interprets cumulative health data to accommodate individual needs of students;
    • Plans and implements school health management protocols for the children with chronic health problems, including the administration of medication;
    • Develops procedures and provides for crises intervention for acute illness, injury and emotional disturbances;
    • Promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection, surveillance and reporting of contagious diseases;

    Qualifications for the School Nurse Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Nursing, from a reputable institution
    • MUST be registered by the Nursing Board of Kenya
    • At least two (2) years relevant work experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Effectual team player and service oriented
    • Pleasant personality, fit to handle children

    Kindergaten Teacher

    Responsibilities for the Kindergaten Teacher Job

    • Planning, delivery and evaluation of the schemes of work and lesson plans according to the Montessori curriculum ;
    • Coordinating the activities of the class ;
    • Planning and coordinating field trip activities as well as evaluating learning;
    • Work in collaboration with other Kindergarten staff;
    • Teaching, guiding, caring for the Kindergarten children;
    • Ensuring resource needs are identified, ordered for and used properly and with accountability;
