    Duties for the Welder/Fitter Job

    • Mig or Tig welding
    • Hand fitting or machining processes to replace or repair faulty parts
    • Testing batteries and other parts of an engine
    • Checking tyres and exhausts
    • Replacing or repairing faulty parts
    • Balancing and re-aligning wheels
    • Repairing punctures
    • Giving customers advice

    Welder/Fitter Job Requirements

    • Minimum Government Grade Test 3 or equivalent Diploma/Certificate
    • At least 3 years’ experience in reputable Garages
    • Experience in motor vehicle repair
    • Technical knowledge
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Ability to use a range of tools

    Mechanic

    Duties for the Mechanic Job

    • Perform general maintenance works, repairing and maintaining motor vehicles.
    • Major and minor repairs
    • Preventive maintenance of vehicles
    • Installation and replacement of faulty parts
    • Keeping equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
    • Maintaining vehicle functional by conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.

    Chemists Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lab tests analysis
    • Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reaction techniques.
    • Develop, improve, and customize products, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
    • Compile and analyze test information to determine process or product efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions.
    • Direct, coordinate, and advise personnel in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of products.
    • Induce changes in composition of substances by introducing heat, light, energy, and chemical catalysts for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
