Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Assistant Manager Catering and Accommodation, the Housekeeper will be charged with ensuring a clean, safe, hygienic, orderly environment for our guests with a view of maintaining and strengthening our reputation. He or she will ensure professional cleaning of the guestrooms and public areas including conference halls.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Professional cleaning of guestrooms and all public areas within the establishment.
• Performing laundry related duties as per the set standards and management of the linen room
• Identifying and reporting any repair/maintenance related issues for action by the maintenance department
• Reporting all lost and found items to the front office and management.
• Maintaining a par stock of guestroom supplies and amenities at all times.
• Maintaining and replenishing cleaning supplies
• Ensuring timely compilation and submission of the room status report to the front office
• Assisting guests with requests and answering questions as necessary to ensure a high level of
  customer satisfaction at all times
• Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Cleaning and setting up of conference/meeting halls

Qualifications and Skills

• Have a minimum of a certificate in Housekeeping and laundry from a reputable Institution
• Minimum of three years proven working experience in star rated establishments
• Basic computer knowledge and use of Hotel Property Management System (PMS)
• Good communication skills

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Cook will be responsible for all food preparation, verifying that foodpreparation meet the right quality and quantity requirements and maintaining the highest sanitation standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, cut and prepare foods designated for cooking.
• Prepare soups, salads, meats, accompaniments, vegetables, and desserts.
• Handle both a la carte and Table d’hote menu orders.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Measure and mix ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
• Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, fresh juices and fountain drink
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
• Portion, arrange, garnish and serve orders to customers at windows, counters, buffet or tables.

Requirements

• At least certificate in food production or a catering related course from a reputable institution.
• Three-year work experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant.
• Have a valid food handlers certificate.
• Conversant with use of new cooking equipment in the hotel industry.
• Up to date on new cooking trends in the hospitality.

Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Head Waiter, the waiter/Waitress is responsible for serving food and beverage, offering suggestions to guests and providing superior customer service with a keen knowledge  of products served at the BTL Christian International Conference Centre while maintaining an exciting yet safe atmosphere. Working as part of a team, the role will have a direct impact on the general success of the F & B Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serving of food & drink products as per the menu within a designated service area, during
  banquets/outside catering events.
• Explaining to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking
  methods
• Informing customers of daily specials, making recommendations upon request
• Serving & Clearing dishes, making sure the crockery is clean & polished before use
• Assisting in inventory for crockery, cutlery, linens etc for the restaurant
• Anticipating and resolving customers’ unspoken needs.
• Doing Mis-en Place: restaurant table set up, refilling of condiments, folding of napkins, wiping
  and polishing of glassware, cutlery and silverware.
• Salesmanship: Upselling & cross-selling our conference products & services
• Processing guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis
• Observing diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service
• Responding to additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed
• Preparing totals bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier.
• Handling and escalation of guests’ concerns and feedback.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate in F&B Sales and Service from a reputable learning institution
• Barista training and training in First Aid would be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of proven working experience as Waiter/Waitress in a busy hospitality
  establishment.
• Previous experience in using Hotel Management Systems e.g. Hotel Plus POS
• Basic math skills
• Attentiveness and patience for customers

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced
  environment
