    Cook

    Responsibilities

    • Wash, cut and prepare food items designated for cooking.
    • Prepare soups, salads, meats, accompaniments, vegetables, and desserts.
    • Handle both à la carte and Table d’hote menu orders.
    • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
    • Measure and mix ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
    • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
    • Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, fresh juices and fountain drinks.
    • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
    • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
    • Portion, arrange, garnish and serve orders to customers at windows, counters, buffet or tables.

    Qualifications

    • Certificate in Food Production, Catering, or a related field from a recognized and reputable institution.
    • At least two-years work experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant.
    • Have a valid food handlers’ certificate.
    • Up to date on new cooking trends in the hospitality.

    Maintenance Technician

    • Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of the Centre’s facilities, with a primary focus on electrical and plumbing systems, to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical and plumbing systems.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and utilities.
    • Monitor water and power systems to ensure efficient operation.
    • Maintain maintenance records and report identified faults.
    • Support renovation, repair, and improvement projects as assigned.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

    Qualifications

    • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Building
    • Services, or another related technical field from a recognized institution.
    • At least three-years experience of practical maintenance experience in a hotel, institution,
    • commercial facility, or similar environment.
    • Relevant trade certification and/or valid electrical licensing where applicable.
    • Demonstrated competence in both electrical and plumbing works.
    • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Waiter/Waitress

    Responsibilities

    • Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
    • Take guest orders, explain menu items, and recommend daily specials.
    • Prepare and maintain restaurant service areas, including table setup and cleanliness.
    • Ensure timely service, guest satisfaction, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
    • Process guest bills and coordinate payments.
    • Promote and upsell the Centre’s products and services.
    • Participate in departmental meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer care.

    Qualifications

    • Certificate in Food and Beverage Sales and Service or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • At least two-years experience in a busy hospitality establishment.
    • Experience using hotel or restaurant management systems such as Hotel Plus POS, Micros Fidelio, Intersoft, or similar platforms.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
